  1. Welcome to the club mate. I'll look forward to seeing some pics of your motor.
  2. The tyre packages they offer are 205/40/17 so I was thinking 195/40/17 would give them some stretch?? Just not sure I'm right?? And of course I'm not sure they will fit the tyres if there not the size recommended. And time is of an essence. The damn place is shut till the 5th of jan. Not happy about that. I want them now. Lol
  3. I was thinking these lads. What do you think? Here's the figments..... What tyres will I need then for a stretched look??
  4. I'll run 15's pal but I wanna see a set of 13's minilites on yours. Haha. This wheel shite is getting right on my bristols now. Haha
  5. Where we at bro?? Haha. You got me curious and checking for updates every half hour.
  6. Always been abit optimistic when it comes to messing with tyres. After all there they play a major part in whether you will end up dead in a ditch or not. Anyway the new wheels are getting ordered today along with new tyres. Recommended tyres are 205/40/17. I've been reading up on stretch tyres and it seems if you only drop 1 size this will be fine and give you a little stretch. Does this mean drop from 205/40/17 to 195/40/17?? Or does it mean drop from a 17" tyre to a 16"? Who run stretch tyres out there and does it have any effect on handling or balance?? Thanks
  7. If limited fuel was getting through this would be plenty to make the car idle. Only when you throttle it you would see a difference and if there was starvation the engine would stall. Try checking it first whilst you pal is sat in the car. See if there's any difference in pressure or if it drops.
  8. I'm thinking this aswell. Two possible issues. Fuel and Air. Vehicle runs which seems to rule out fuel but doesn't rule out fuel starvation. Check all your vac pipes for even the slightest of cracks or splits or leakage.
  9. What about some Porsche D90's?? I love these wheels. The look good polished aswell. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Hi Michael, Welcome to VR6OC. Very nice corrado you have there....
  11. Good luck with that one Dave because as soon as a bargain arises big J will have your eyes out and go for the kill. He's a sucker for a bargain. It's every man for himself in this game. Hahahaha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I feel your pain. You watch, it will be something so minor. Keep up the good work. This is a quality write up and I'm sure many of us will revert back to this at some point in the future. Hope you get sorted soon ibs.....

  14. No worries pal. I'll add you to the list anyway and in a couple of weeks I'll inbox everyone to see who's rolling or spectating pal. Either way it will still be a good day out and good club get together.
  15. Oh yes I back bealieboy on this. Infact your worse. Out of all the vultures you have the biggest claws. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. No worries mate. Most events for 2015 haven't been organised yet so you've plenty of time to decide which shows you'd like to attend. You don't have to get your car on the rollers at the RR day pal. It's all about representing the club and having a Laff with the members. The more the merrier pal.
  17. Yes mate, just get your name down. Have a nosey in the meets and events section. Ultimate dubs has already had the cars picked for the club stand but its very unlikely members are turned down for places on the stands unless it's limited numbers. The club will always book bigger stands if there's more interest. If you want to come to the rolling road day get your name down in meets and events and I'll add you to the list. It's hopefully gonna be the 1st of March which is a Sunday. It will be booked early in the new year pal.
  18. You'll enjoy it here pal. Plenty of club events coming up this year. Rolling road day coming up at the beginning of March.
  19. Hi Andy, The answers to your questions are..... Yes you can use the R32 sump but you will need to change the oil pump. The R32 is exactly the same but with a shorter pick up. It's not a cheap project to do the swap but I believe TPS are the cheapest for the parts. I have Audi TT wheels on mine which are for sale shortly. As standard they will rub on the back when lowered but if you prepared to have your arches rolled and run a little camber they will clear the arches. If you go to the Engine Tuning section there's a write up there on the R32 sump conversion. Hope this helps.
  20. Welcome to the club mate. Nice clean motor you have there Jake.
