  3. Ok, so that's coil and leads eliminated and also probs crank sensor. What next? Right, I googled it and came up with this....... Sounds like the coilpack, if you've lost 2 cylinders. There's three coils, so two cylinders go at a time with it. And I don't think a coil pack fail will show up on VAG-COM, either. (The engine will just notice the extra fuel in the exhaust and try to run it leaner on the remaining cylinders, I don't think it'll be able to directly tell that there's a misfire (or no-fire) on some cylinders. Could be wrong, but...
  4. I'm sure crank sensor failure will make the engine cut out completely, not affect individual cylinders. Have you checked all leads are seated correctly on the coil and plugs. Did you replace the coil etc due to the misfire?
  5. :-). Right, I'll shoot round there now and tell em daveyboy sent me. If they look at me funny, I'll know it's yours! ;-)
  6. If that's yours, I'm your new best friend!!!
  7. That 6x6 was a serious bit of kit!
  8. We're trailer tenting, so would be a proper mission to tour with it, it's bad enough putting it up once!!!! I must admit though, maybe when the kids are old enough to do they're own hols touring could be something we'd have a go at. We did narbonne a couple of years back, went over the millau viaduct on the way down and the did a daytrip to barca. That was ok down there but we prefer the Cannes area for its beaches etc..... And as for the boats!
  9. Thats a real nice vehicle for travelling, the t4. I've toyed with a van so many times! We're at mandalieu la napoule, right next to Cannes. We've visited Nice, Monaco, Cannes, st Raphael and will do St tropez before we come back. I love this part of France, it's proper hot with nice beaches and plenty to see!!! I Never appreciated that there's so many pretty women too, this is the 5th year we've done south too!

  22. Well, depends on your ride height I suppose, mines probs about 60mm lower, need to get my arches done now really.
  23. I'm running 7.5 & 9.5. I require some arch work on the rear though as I get a tiny bit of rub on extreme bumps. I have 195/45/16 front and 215/45/16 rears. Both have a good amount of stretch! Offset 23 on front and 28 rear, no spacers.
