    Took the VR to Players Classic this weekend, was an absolutely brilliant show with a great mix of cars, on show and on track, it's also at Goodwood which is a beautiful place! Can't wait until next year, a highly recommended show![emoji1360] Also got a couple of 'proper' pics of the car taken;

    Hi mate and welcome to the club[emoji1360], I don't think the 24v's they seem to sound more like a other V6's, whereas a 12v VR sounds like a 12v VR and nothing else![emoji16][emoji1360]

    I didn't think it was as bad as all the idiots that know all about making TV programs (that's why they're plumbers mechanics and carpenters etc etc....[emoji1360][emoji23]) on the Internet made it out to be, I think it'll get better, they haven't been working together for 10-15 years so it's going to take a while for them to gel I would've thought. I'm willing to give them a chance especially as ones owned an F40 and the other loves a Techart Porsche! I haven't watched it but apparently the Top Gear Extra thing on bbc3 is pretty good?

    A little update to this after nearly 3 years of taking it easy on the slightly iffy clutch, one of the reasons I got it so cheap but changing the bushes on the pedal made it a lot better and 2 years of having a gearbox fitted with a Quaife diff lying around in my shed I finally gave in and got a new clutch and the other box into the car. I cleaned painted and changed all of the seals on it a while ago, Then decided to just get it done on the drive as I'd be waiting forever to get a spare ramp at work and I hate being there when I don't have to be[emoji1304]Some shiny new parts, Got this one

    Hi mate! Your best bet will be to try either Oem and More Adrian there is very helpful or VW Parts International on eBay as they keep a lot of n.o.s VW stuff. Also worth phoning VW Heritage as they don't list everything on there website as I've found out a couple of times. Hope that helps. [emoji1360]

    Just finished putting it back together, And it works!! This Quaife diff is gonna have me ripping tyres off of rims on roundabout's its f+*king amazing!! [emoji51][emoji51] An added bonus is that I no longer need to push the clutch pedal through the carpet to change gear!![emoji1362][emoji1360]
