    I've just used a seller on the bay called all4cars. Goud flexiable style splitter. Good nice tight fitting. They are made in the same factory as the standard vw ones were using same materials

    To be fair mate, I looked at the thread but unfortunately couldn't help. Therefore didn't post. I don't believe in clogging threads with rubbish and bullsh1t that won't help you. If your desperate, pick up the phone and talk to numerous specialists whos numbers are widely available on this site such as Jp automotive or the likes of stealth. Good look at getting the motor sorted.

    Bit of an update to where I'm at. Done some tidying up under the engine bay, fitted ally intake, oil catch can and fitted my CDA.Bit of a pic Had my standard alloys powder coated in grey so here's a pic of them Hated the exhaust that was on the car, so decided to make my own with my mate. pic to show the difference in size between the old n the new 2.5". tig welding it up. Look what Santa brought, a nice new raceland 6 branch and some lorverly heat wrap. So I now how 6 branch and a full decat 2.5" 1 box system with a side exit exhaust.     Im running single box on my vr. It's very very very stupidly loud but it sound fantastic!

    What is the standard limit set at on a raddo? I got him to lift mine to 6720 rpm just for that little bit more.

    It's a pre made map as I only sent them the ecu but it feels very lively and alot more pokey than before.

    My vr had developed a non start issue on cold mornings. Did dome research and it turns out it's the factory immobilise control box. So I spoke to vince at stealth and he said he can write it out of ecu for 85 quid. Good do, so while it was there I got him to chip it to suit my mods. Decat, 6 branch full 2.5" system n a cda. He said I'd get 15 bhp and 10ftlb of torque which I was happy with. Cost me 190 for the work and postage back. God dam, I know it prob 10bhp more at the most but there is definitely a noticeable difference. I'm really pleased. Got to say very impressed with the service I re

    Make sure you get a genuine vw one as I've heard the cheaper ones aren't worth a w**k. I think mine was 40 odd quid from tps, or find someone off here near you and try before you buy so to speak.

    Coolant temp sensor is a cheap try. Couple of quid from gsf or tps etc. See as it's only from cold and that it's a warm/cold issue that would be my bet.

    I had the exact same issue with mine. I changed everything on mine so spent quite a bit, all new parts aswell.I changed MAff, lambda, coil pack leads and crank sensor. Still no better in anyway with all these changed. I then bought a new cam sensor, and it cured it. I reackon yours will be the same as your symptoms sound the same as mine. Where are you located mate?

    +1 for the uprated mount. I chanced it and luckily only went through gaskets. A vibratecnincs mount sorted the problem.

    Nice car dude. I've read about and seen your other projects so good things to come I'm sure. How do you find the two box system loud wise? I'm on a 57 mm single box system i built myself and I think I sounds lovely. Gaz

    I've had one and fitted it. Good quality part IMO. Fits perfect onto standard manifold. Good buy all in all.

    It's basically put a 2" dent from rear light to start of the arch n dented n scuffed the bumper. Haven't got Pics as cars at work n I'm on site n it was dark when u left.

    This morning, goes into local spar shop, parked in the end bay of a 5 bay parking area, some guy in a discovery decides he has to park next to me despite the other 4 bays being empty, and decides to take out my bumper n rear quater.     Thing is tho mark, has anyone ever done any real testing. I'm not saying it will work, or that I'll leave it on if it does, it's purely and simply a tester! Thanks for your obvious support tho from one home modder to another! Lol

    I think a leaf blower maybe slight more aggressive than a electric supercharger! Fueling will be checked during the experiment and it will be aborted if tolerances are not acceptable.
