    ok list of things ive done to vr6 since i got it and it was very tatty 1. new back number plate and bulbs 2.oil change and filter 3.4 new tyres 4. new induction kit 5. fixed air con 6.new skirt clip on bit (old one ruted and snapped) 7.clutch pedal welded up afetr metal plate come away (massive thanks to TONYVRT ) 8.front wheel bearings done 9.new blacked out fog lights 10.new boot carpet 11. 2 new wings stright off another black vr6 (old one torn to pieces by tyres) 12.raised her 15mm to stop scrubbing on new wings. (was stupidly low) 13.new wiper blades 14.engine bay cleaned 15.new electri

    only thing i can think the starlet has on its side is the weight

    my friend has a toyota 1.3 turbo and he keeps giving itr the big one that he easily beat my vr 0-60 and all way through to top end i said this is not true i looked at stats and from what i see tey do 0-60 in 8.3 and are 135bhp and his is standard just a filter and exhaust surely i will see him off in my 175bhp and 0-60 in 7.0 odd seconds my vr touchs over a 100 just in 3rd gear and gets there QUICK with a roar i have also filter and exhaust and too add surely my torque will be superior to his ............my engines 1500cc bigger for god sakes lol id like to hear some opinions

    anytime ive had this problem with not just a vw any car its been the alternator "!

    ok just a quick mention if any one wants cheap parts and rapid delivery ive been getting parts from a place called volksbits in birmingham found them threw ebay but then learnt they have almost anything for great prices alot of you probaly no these but for those who dont there worth a go if u cant find a part!!!

    rite the wheel bearngs done one was so worn on drivers side it had buggered the flange or something my mate said so had that replaced to drives so much better now ..........got charged 35 quid a side and i supplied the bearings 13 quid each off ebay from volksbits in birmingham fast good service from there

    way i look at it if theres say a 20-25 kg total in difference it would be like having a extra bag of cement every where u go that all vr6s are tanks any way and u need to shed every pound u can

    hi just wondering been offered a mint 5 door leather trim for vr6 200 quid was just thinking will the leather weigh a great deal more than my fabric one i like to keep car (those spare space saver wheels weigh a tonne )

    i actually got a spare cut as only had one when bought car with the chip for ignition and doors for 18 quid only a few weeks ago bargain i thought and that was at chelmsford locksmiths

    just got my two front wheel bearings threw post as they are in a bad way and making loads of noise ............just wondered if i would be able to do them myself or is it a real pain??????

    just been offered a de-cat pipe will this make a lot of power difference also do they need to be swapped again for m.o.ts???? thanks

    aint been to a show yet and wanna get invloved as a new vr6 owner is this for us or will it be all vintage dubs etc ? its closest one ive seen so far so would like a bit more info please

    definatley an earth on passemger wing on my vr see it when i changed wings at weekens mate

    put 2 new painted wings on sunday and raised it today about 10-15 mill as she was so low she tore old arches apart to be honest it drives so much better slightly higher happy days been a good week for vr as managed to fix aircon which was just the plug had come loose from the on/off switch starting to get to know the vr inside out!!

    ok thanks mate swear bloke in shop said other day they are slightly different but i trust my fellow vr6 pals on here more so will go ahead and orde the part thanks again

    seen some wheel bearings on ebay it says they fit my vr6 but also a lot of other mk3 isnt it a diifferent bearing to rest of mk3 s if so anyone got the vag number ones im looking at are 1h0498625a are these ok before i purchase thanks for reading

    hi seen a vortech v-1 supercharger for sale are these all same and fit any car as in universal............or is there a pacific one for the vr6 as in ad ive seen it doesnt specify at all as if a vortech v 1 supercharger is a vortech v 1 supercharger and thats it
