  2. It's all cool, chill. At the begining with tut tut, was larkin about in a wouldn't dream of screwing the system..... NOT..... Lol. Been there done that especially when times were tight and couldn't afford proper job. Temporary repairs usually lasted until next mot!!!!!! So please use your putty, I'm not gonna snitch!!!!!!
  3. Hahaha..... I don't the same in the past, but with fibreglass filler..... Painted it, when paint was nearly dry, gave it a dusting of dust to make it look old(ish)!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol

  5. He's only been testing for 19 yes so yeah I'd guess he's wrong and hasn't got a clue!!!! I THINK NOT.. if anything, one thing I definatley can say about him, he can be a bit strict.. Even for me, at least I know my car is sound when he's tested it.
  6. I wouldn't swear on it, but I think you can find some info on this through VOSA.

  8. Is there much of a power increase, or is it a case of they alter the way the power is delivered?
  9. Ben, is the car still totally useable, or does it become lumpy?
  10. WOW you aint wasting ANY time are you????? good job though.........
  11. I thought I'd ask my mot tester mate if the jacking points and/or sills are a structual part of a golf. He said they were, so I asked if you found metal putty in either would you fail the car on mot? He said yep.........so there na na na maaaaa na...................
  12. Tut tut...... Sills are structural part of the car, metal putty is no good. Least you could have said was fibreglass or carbon sheet over the hole and smooth it down then paint it..........lol seriously though, get em repaired with metal plates and welding ( not rivets) or better still, change the whole sill. Will be much stronger. If mot tester finds putty, car will fail mot.
  13. Where did you get em from? Shop or website? (I'm on phone, so doesn't show all the site )

  20. See told you I didn't know anything about chargers................lol
  21. Tony, are you still collecting my race manifold, VT front engine mount and powerflex bushes from Ross, and bringing them to the meet?
  22. I don't know anything about charges etc so can't coment on whats said, other than I agree in that a supercharger would be my prefered F/I method as it's instant and constant, unlike a turbo with lag and surge. I have a question though, wouldn't the superchargers from a G60 Golf or Corrado be of any use?
