Cant say it will do you vso's any good either. Or lifters. Or piston rings. Just get it fixed to be honest!

I havent, but make sure you can use it for deep seated valves, which the vr6 is. I got one from machine mart for about the same price iirc.

Whats your pcv valve like? If thats split you can get funes coming into the cabin. But change the rocker cover gasket

obviously check the block face e.t.c, could be worth changing the VSO's e.t.c while your taking the head off. Tony will be able to point out any bits too you that need addressing
