what is the most you can skim a head, i mean by skimming the head a marginal amount you also up the compression of the motor... so from a stock head, what is the most one can take off and not do any harm?
so turbo bits it is, i got a hold of a T61 ball bearing turbo for about £300, now all to get is the rest of the goodies..... also wanted to ask, do i HAVE to change the pistons?

OBD1 and it seems fine, starts up first time.... drives normal, etc.. so would it be suggest i change it since it's giving me an error code or just leave it be?

i want to go turbo eventually, i have a stock vr with decat... so what do i need ( please add) Turbo T61 ball bearing turbo or GT35 turbo manifold injectors 550cc Intercooler ( what size?? etc...) full engine management v6 Go tech PRO Dump valve ( size, etc...??) Boost controller 268 cams ......... please help an aspiring vr driver reach his dream of one day boosting ;-)
ok, so i plug in my monthly VAG com test, and pick up a crank sensor error code.. my car still drives normally, so what is the symptoms of a buggered crank sensor???
