ibiza vr6

hi iv striped my 2.8 vr6 again every time itime it up and turn it round once its not lined up with the tit on the presure plate is there a beter way off doing this ? as when i ran it last time it sparks on number 1 lead but makes no diffrents to the running is this y ?

as some mite no i have a 2.8 ibiza would a 2.9 fit with my loom my ecu is not chipped to car so would a 2.9 fit and is there much diffrents and any one no were i can get ether a 2.8 or 2.9

hi not long ago my head went so i had it skimmed and put it back on again it ran lumpy so i checked timing it run fine and has very good power but ticks over at around 500 revs and every now and again slight popfrom air filter all so has a nosiey tapping from lifter witch will soon go i could do with a set off lifters and gaskets for inlet and exhaust seems hard to get these days any idears

at the end off the day its only a car if it gose wrong scrap it and get some thing else you get 3 months garantee and as far as fitting been in trade will sort some thing and its down to fit my car and a manifold is only 90 on ebay

will do iv read a bit about them dont seem the worst going if nothing ill get the kit so only need a good turbo

why have i heard u can pull 400 bhp before damage and iv upgraded head gasket and done chains and tenstioners im in trade and a few mates that do stuff like this and say it would be fine as long as u dont try and put to much through ?

yea depends on how u driv if your heavy right footed all the time then it wont last i want it for 1/4 mile runs and i lttle fun £700 is cheap and can soon upgrade turbo

seen one for 700 for full kit may be not the best but cheat to start dont get me wrong its fast as it is but a bit more wont hurt lol

yea sorry it is so turbo is cheapest option then lol

hi dose any one no any thing about super charger iv been reading a bit i take it u just bolt them on and go ? do they just air in the faster u go the more air they suck ? and last where is the best place to find on second hand ???? thanks for the help peeps

dose any one have numbers or email address for gaskets i want both inlets and exhaust rocker and if cheap enough 12 lifters unless some one has some or if any one is local to york i could do with a timing tool for cams
