    it does seem strange that you are haveing probs with it i run 908.2 on vista no probs at all if you still haveing problems i would contact there tec department and see if they have any answers that may help you

    there is not alot wrong with the ebay ones but you are very limited as to what you can do with it you can read most fault codes (but not all) and reset service lights with it thats really about all you can do with them

    well i downloaded it for free and it does say that it works with vista and win 7 you can run either version i think the bete version is a replacement to the vcds (not 100% sure) but if yours is the free version you will have to pay for the latest version

    yeah we can do them again and have also done a bit of research and we can undo the bleeds on the rear then run the output test and that should also pump the fluid through basicly the same as lukeyb has done so just let me know when you wanna do them mate

    i allways go for simple checks first so working on that have you checked/changed the fuel fillter lately or just take fuel line of to make sure the fuel is getting to pump

    never had them but not heard good things about the hottuning ones IE: not well built ,rust quick and not the best ride but as you say for 180 what do you expect

    nice one mate glad its not full engine out job when you get the sensors fitted give me a shout and we will clear all the codes for you

    i run the new version 908 and beta 10.3 all ok on vista but have been told that the older version don't like it on mine when you "click" on the vcds logo on your desktop (not conected to car) you get a screen that gives you the choice of what you want to do IE:run fault scan, reset service lights ect ect well the last one on mine is options in there is a option for usb click that and then click test button then save button all without conecting to car

    not hard to do with vag-com mate it will lead you through the procedure i have got a licened version 908 so if you get stuck give me a shout only in chichester so not to far from southampton (vrstormt)

    sorry not to join you lot but got called into work so did'nt even get milltek fitted but have got it here now looking all nice and shiny so guess what i'm gonna be doing tomorrow

    not sure i can make this now as the only time slot i can get to have my milltek fitted is at 12 on sat or i'v got to wait untill 3 weeks after that to have spare ramp in mates garage

    when i done my old scoob yes it smelt horrable for a while mate and smoked i sat there with it on tickover or ages with a bucket of water just in case :$

    i "think" that they are the same not 100% sure so you would be better getting some longer duration ones
