  1. yea mate be nice and simple there an engine mount modification to do and a chassis dent to make it easier to change auxillary belt when engine is in! wiring will be plug and play into the mk2 fusebox, simples

  5. can be done i would need someone local to offer me a mk3 golf in 3 door and 5 door so i could make patterns then could make as many as required... altho must state only serious enquiries as sick and tired of people saying yes to doing something and not contacting after! can also make sump guards and shallow your existing sumps for lowered cars etc anything within reason really lol
  6. im a welder/ fabricator make any thing from repair panels for skips to st/st rollcages for beach buggies, something different everyday i guess! hopin to go self employed this year, wanna make myself some money instead of lining the bosses pockets lol
  7. well its not so much as wont idle more along lines of wont start! just searching for ideas about problems i can try to narrow it down until i crack it, heard it could also be fuel pump not workin efficiently and not puttin enough fuel thro?
  8. my obd1 vr6 starts occasionally, it turns over nice and quick, it sometimes sounds like its tryin to start but wont actually run other times it takes a play with throttle pedal and it will start but struggle to run and as soon as i let off throttle it dies, could the isv cause this? cheers for your help
  9. done that tonight and now clocks dont flicker on and off etc but still winds over and over sometimes tries to start but just dont catch, cant understand this *-)
  10. hi all, havin intermittent problems with my mk2 vr basically sometimes it starts sometimes it dont but also the clocks sometimes flicker on and off when cranking engine over, also rev counter jumps when turning over but not always. are the clocks part of problem why engine wont start? someone please help ;-)

  12. 316 is the grade i would go for, roughly twice as expensive as 304 but will last alot longer, in my line of work all we ever use is 316 and its worth payin the extra for 316 grade for an exhaust if you want it to last
  13. try putting this in the wanted section you may get more luck, hope this helps
