lol lol well i did,nt need it mine seems all ok but thought i would point yer man in the right direction of somone who knows a lot more about these leads than i do mate, as it seems that the ebay leads play about a fair bit

you could try this right click on your vag-com shortcut on your desktop and click 'run as administrator' I also edit the copy protection of the vacom folder in c:\program files\ vag-com. Right click on the vag-com folder -> properties. Click the security tag then click edit then in the new window click add. Type 'everyone' then click OK. Then in the box that appears click everyone and tick the box full control then click apply. i would be very suprised if it gave more than 4 or 5 extra i'v got one on my 4mo and can't say i can tell any diffrence

no mate its not 50/50 the way the haldex works means it varies the split as diff grip is required

be honest mate i know bugger all about the tec side of fitting it all in lol lol might be worth pm ing bungy as he knows where there is a mk4 golf 4motion in a breakers might have the parts that you need, or you could go on a site like this http://www.partsfinder.co.uk/ and let them do the work for you http://www.car-breakers.info/

if your gonna cut a car up to get the parts you need for the conversion would it not be better to find a doner car that has a blown engine or a tatty one a bit cheaper 2700 seams a lot of cash just to chop up

i don't normaly mind "fishy" smells lol lol but no i never seen a coil pack like that one is i still can't see why it has done the ecu tho you would think it would blow a fuse if the power back tracked through the system

will it pick up any of the other things on the car like the abs system ?????? -
think the ecu is fubberd i could,nt even get into it with the vag-com could read every thing else on the car but just would'nt communicate with the engine ecu it was bloody weird seeing bungy after all these yrs mind you the coil pack wasn;t so much melted as exploded

is there anyone in you area with one that works and try that on your car at least you will know whether its the car port or the vag com lead
