The forge tie bars are out for a month or so, going to pick up my new rs4 replicas and tyres this weekend, will be painting em black, the santas will be shod with track rubber and painted white, more soon....:-d

This happened on the valver, i didnt have my remote locking fob, used that and all was well, after id stripped the dash out, changed all ignition bits etc.

Have read through but what is the crack insurance wise? Admiral have it on the certificate that the ring is not included, will the jerrys look? The diamond cut finish on the Santa's is going manky and quick, so was gonna get my mate to refurb and paint em, i fancy black he says white. Here are some paint pics i did, really poo i no, what do people think? Cant come to getting em properly done and diamond cut ;(

Just found a pic of my old mk3 valver, oh the good times. It was standard on black wheels, but the noise on full chat almost rivalled the 4mo at first. Next up for the 4mo, forge adjustable rear control arms, new rubber - any reccomendations???:-d i have 500 quid overtime burning a hole...

I have an extremly light rattley noise on idle and up to about 1k rpm its bin like this for the 12k miles iv had it do we think its chains or summat else, i hope it isnt cos i just could afford to sort it ;( she's a 24v too, just for info.

What was it i saw somewhere: Vtec, all that lag and no turbo is like waiting for bad sex. I want a twin turbo rex7, to get into drifting really, my mate keeps trying to pull me to the jap side but even if i got one i would never be without a vr, the same mate bought an r33 GTST and has blown it numerous times without making 1000 miles in near 12 months he had an old mk2 8v gti which he kept on just to use while the skyline was in the garage. And his old fella just bought a 20 year old 911 turbo making 430bhp and it wipes the floor with his stupid tuned jap mobile :-d

I want to matey but me and the golf on the ferry is knocking 200 notes, then travelling from heysham lancs or liverpool, fuel in a vr, food in me, which would be expensive in itself :-d i really dont fancy shelling out the wonga, maybe when my mates skyline is done and we go to pick it up :-d

Jurby airfield isle of man, straigtliners held it, i can show a pic of the slip if needs be :-d, its all in the launch my friend, sitting on the 'soft' limiter and drop the clutch oh and my k&n panel filter must have added a full 30bhp My average time over the 21 runs was about 15.2 ish.

Did a 1/4 mile day on a local airfield on the 27th, just found a photo so will post that when i get it. Managed a 14.67 on the day with a full interior and a fat bloke at the helm so quite happy really:-d

:-( iv just turnerd 20, on my standard 02 4motion, 0 ncb, 0 points admiral are taking 1800 fully comp, +another grand cos i was unemployed when took policy on and couldnt afford it all at once. Oddly its more expensive now as readymix concrete batcher than a tractor mechanic?

I have asked some people this before but not on here to no avail. Some times when my lights are on and i put on main beam it makes my wipers jump up and down a wee bit, and they never seem to park properly yet when i turn them on they go down to park before working as normal. I think its the alternator but have tested it until blue in the face, could be the battery too? Im more of a mechanical bloke so im a touch stumped here. How much of a job is the cam chain guides as i have a bit of a rattle, nothing mega serious though.

I have scraped my sump more times than i care to remember and mine is stock, though i have been told it is fitted with the factory lowered suspension (r32 height??) so are the factory shocks up to hard use if i put on some other goodies like ARBs and the like or do i upgrade to coilies but dont lower to improve my handling? As anyone whos lives here or has been over will tell you some of the roads are truly shocking.

Nick @ R-tech reckons that the 4mo v6 gains about 20hp peak, but increses mid range pull etc. supposedly well worth doing. A local bloke has just started out and is gonna do it cheap for some publicity :-d

Passed test July 06 @16 8-| Yamaha DT 125, best fun iv ever had on 2 wheels. Looked like a bear on a roller skate Yamaha TTR 250, fell off and shagged me knee up, sold (I wonder why??). 98 mk3 astra 1.4 8v, bought with health insurance payout on bust knee from bike. 2000 Peugeot Partner Van 95 Mk3 golf GTi 16v 02 V6 4mo. Halfers in a mk2 gti 8v And a host of off road bikes.
