If in doubt about the Tops Mounts buddy l would say replace then wont do any harm -

If it only happens when you are turning l would think it more likely to be the outer CV joint then the top mounts buddy, if it was your top mounts l would guess it would be knocking over bumps ect.. as well. is the movement from the top or the bottom of the strut or does the whole thing shift 1/2 inch hub and all? -

Honestly l am not sure buddy, there might not be anything wrong, but on the off chance that there is I would check through the usual suspects, O2 sensors, vacuum pipes, temp sensor, give the throttle body a good clean ect.. sorry l can’t be more helpful/specific dude, my knowledge is not as full as some of the folks on here lol

hhhmmm strange maybe the MAF is compensating for something else that’s not quite right, have you hooked it up to vagcom to see if there are any codes?

Howsit dude, not sure about the other stuff, but yes lm pretty sure that unpluging your MAF will make you car idle and run like crap. I have heard people using that method to test if their MAF has gone, if you unplug it and it doesnt run any worse then there is a prob with it so lm guessing yours is working fine

I was looking at this a month or 2 ago as it is something l would love to do, but if l remember right it was going to cost me a little more then £500 just for fuel, let alone all the other bits, and as soon as my mates saw the distance we had to drive they all started going on about how they would rather fly! (miserable sods lol), so not too sure if l will still be going will have to let you know closer to the time

Im 25 and with Adrian Flux fully comp 4 years NCB, all mod declared (exhaust, coilovers, strut braces) windscreen cover, key cover, ice cover, drive any other car TPFT as long as it is insured ect.. and lm sure l have forgotten something but cant remember right now. £750 a year -

I must admit l was starting to get a bit uumm grumpy reading this thread, talking about poisoning or killing cats, I was thinking if someone ever did that to my cats l would rip their throats out ( I am massively protective of my animals, 2 cats, 2 dogs and a horse) but after reading on l see it was just frustrations and not intent lol I would say don’t bother with those ultrasonic sound things they don’t work and if your like me and can hear them they are just bloody annoying lol You could try motion activated sprinklers or l quite like the pepper idea just put some where it normally poop

I was comparing my N8 against my mates iphone 4 a few weeks ago and l have no idea why people think that iphone is so great and leaps and bounds ahead of other smart phones, cos well its just not lol Don’t get me wrong although l am not a fan of the iphone it was an innovation when the very first one came out in 2007 but not anymore. That new talking app thing on the 4s, Siri is it? is pretty cool but other then that its just another smart phone. Fully agree, a swift beating or some time in the military would do wonders for most of these kids! I don’t think it is entirely on the parents , well not all of them, but lets face it there are some who need a kicking too! the problem is fear or a lack of as it were, the power has been taken away from the parents, police ect.. so the kids have nothing to fear. When l was young we were asked twice and if we didn’t listen we got a smack, and so we listened and behaved cos we know there would be consequences if we didn’t, which gave us a bases for respect. There is next to no consequences
