  1. I was the same first time I tried! Chicken shit central. Get someone who knows what they are doing to set it all for you. Makes a world of difference.
  2. Happy days name added. Just got to pop onto their website http://www.justdubsuk.co.uk/ to buy your tickets. Think its only working on PCs at the minute. Not phones or tablets..
  3. Lovely dragon green machine! Looks awesome.
  4. Yes a lot of man luv Bruvvaaaaaaa! lol Why aren't you doing 18th of October again?
  5. Coming on grand now bud! Chains where recently done on the car I bought. This was one of the big things that swayed me to buy it. So this is probably why I seem a little further ahead. Keep working till midnight and pissing in buckects in the workshop you will be miles ahead of me in no time hahahahahaha. Looking good mate
  6. Stripped my block blasted it and painted it with Matt black. Just glad to have it back together. A lot of other parts ordered today. Plenty to do lol
  7. The mass confusion was both gaskets being made by VR.... If you have a 3mm spacer you want a tripple layer gasket 021 103 383 N. Which is what I needed. After a few calls with the Guru VIW28 Gethin its sorted. Glad that is behind me!
  8. No worries chap shes a lovely motor credit to you pal!
  9. Its a 3mm bud! I use dragon powder coaters http://www.dragonpowdercoating.co.uk/ Recommended to me bya pal of mine who is a civic and vag nut lol but he has loads done there. Dropped my brembos, top chain cover, alternator bracket & rear engine mount in to be done in brilliant white and he said roughly £80 sheets! Wasted more than that on gaskets this week alone F**K sake hahahaha!
  10. Sad news matey but we can't hold ourselves back for a car. Wish you all the best for the future bud whatever you decide and there will be more VR power down the road I am sure! When things are settled and you have a few years of mortgage repayments behind you!
  11. Nice one mate much appreciated!!!! Anyone else fancy a good days fun? Gonna be a little laugh towards the end of the show season..... Come on and get those names down people. Full stands is what its about for the VR6oc from now on!
  12. I may have a few quad lamp mk2 grills knocking around! Your Midlands I am Doncaster
  13. Awesome mate such a difference! Looking the dogs danglies now, keep us updated!
  14. Here's a bit of information for you. If using the Victor Reinz head gasket please go for the 1.6mm Space plate. If you purchase a 3mm plate as I have that gasket may be a little thick. You will need to order the 021 103 383 N. Drill the rivets out and replace the centre section with your spacer! Will keep you posted
  15. All I can say is thank God I opted for ARP bolts as this head has been off and on so many times today! Pissing me right off! Struggling with the bloody timing! Think the spacer may be too big. Its giving me 5mm between block and head! I can get all the timing lined up but the top chain is really tight on all 3 areas! Other than that though its coming along painted the block in matt black, sump off ready to be welded, ARP rod bolts done today! Pissed of so if anyone can suggest anything lol!! All greatly appreciated!
  16. Yeah mine was a TDI just wondering how easy the swap would be diesel to petrol.... However I shouldn't even be considering this sh*t I have a turbo build underway!
  17. Nice motor chap, my Mrs had a bora for a while! I really liked it although she didn't! Is that 12V or 24V don't know much about them state side?
