  1. I had and email before Nat ordered hers saying mine had been sent. I still don't have them.....getting worried.
  2. I do feel sorry for you. Glad there isn't much damage, good job she isn't claiming either. People stall cars though, that doesn't make them stupid. I've stalled the VR....when stationary and screwing about...(not in traffic). Always make sure the path ahead is clear before moving the car.
  3. Craig in a black suit, black sunglasses and a black hat... look like 1 of the blues brothers lol. Dress Nige up like that and we have the team lol. Chris, I'll chip in fer food buddy. Also me and my better half are coming to this.
  4. So....we don't need to either...lol. Shot yerself in the foot there Nat O/J
  5. I am mate. I'm about 20 miles south of craig lol.
  6. Needs to be withing 200 miles of my house....otherwise I'll be spending 2 or 3 days wage in fuel everyday. lol.
  7. I'm getting my Avater tattoo in a few months time...coming out of a cartoonish explosion.
  8. HGV techy is what I planned for originally.....but with my age n stuff, I'd have to do an apprentiship or pay for the course. I'm gonna see what occurs anyways.
  9. Well it pays decent money as far as I'm aware....I will also want to work before hand in a garage to grab some brownie points.
  10. I was looking at working for a dealership or in the RAC, AA or greenflag or something.
  11. Craig, I'm suprised you havn't offered lol. You're close to the track.
  12. What do you do then Tony? Nige, I want your 16Ver...when I have the green. Is working as a mechy in a stealers any good?
  13. Probably a bit of both craig
  14. Usually around 150 - 190 miles per tank although MPG sits at around 12 most of the time.
  15. Yes nige I can bring the Gazebo and a bag o charcoal. By the way, when did I become Read xyz? lol. Is it the "tesco bbq stuff" for food, like Bristol? Jst so I know, I don't need to bring my extra 3 person tent, do I? I turn 23 on sunday coming, so I'm going to have a good drink on Friday...hopefully to some Prodigy
  16. I did think that too Craig, just it sounds to me like an IN engine problem as opposed to a chassis bang. I will be getting some new mounts soon, but I think ideally, the engines internals need replacing...main bearings, rings, caps, cams...maybe even new pistons....might make the engine smoother. Although, with you thinking that mate, I may investigate further. 2 people thinking the same possibilities may turn out to be a concrete diagnosis.
  17. Not only do I have a problem with my gbx, but the engine seems to be....poorly. When shifting down and using the engine braking or going for it with the throttle, I end up hearing a rather large bang, noticable by pedestrians too, look my way when it happens. Now, there is blue smoke when the throttle hits around 4.5k, but not much. I'm thinking that a piston ring or oil scraper has gone to hell.....I replaced the valve seals last month, so it isn't those. I know VR's are renown for their oil drinking qualities, so really it's the BIG bang that is worrying me.
  18. I saw a group of blokes...about 20 of them at Gordano on friday of Bristol wearing these. Had to laugh when I saw them.
