Id second that, Take the water pump out and check the fins, When i did my rebuild my old pump only had 3 fins left Get it sorted soon though so it doesnt cause any major problems!!
I bought a fully primed bumper without the textured section from Euro car parts a year ago. If the data sticker is missing then you can still get the colour code from the Dealer with your Reg or Chassis Number. I work at windrush in maidenhead and can do this for you if you Pm me your reg
You can get the valve on its own from VW, Its under sharan VR6 and starts with 7MO on the part number. I can get you the number if you want. I paid around £7 for mine
I did the ball joints myself so it was only the price of the parts. Not difficult to do so it wouldnt be that expensive. Just make sure when the do the alingment that they check everything and not just the tracking
The scuttle tray comes in two halves? Do you want a price on both? And is it just the top trim on the skirt that you need? Will try and get the numbers for you tomorrow
£45 is good if it is a Full 4wheel Alignment, i work at a dealer and we charge £120 for a check!!! My VR used twitch, Replaced both lower ball joints and it drove so much better. Well worth it as they were not that expensive
I think the green wire that you are talking about is the oil temp sensor for the MFA display. Are all the connectors aroung the front engine mount connected?
Well worth checking there are no Air leaks. Next to the throttle vale is a small palstic box. These can split and cause unmeterd air in and it wont idle.
Do you know the fault code's? I wouldn't replace the Throttle possition sensor or the Vehicle (Engine?) speed sensor wthout testing first. Maybe something else. VR's always show engine speed sensor fault when not running with VAG Tester
They are your oil preesure sensors and there is also a temp sensor there for the mfa. Usual problem with them splitting in the centre and leaking. Not much from vw, just need to know what colour for what pressure sensor it is
