Oh my god...I think that car might live near me! (Well going off that test sheet it could be near Rochdale..I'm like 5 miles away....).......ohhh to have 9 grand... Will have to look out for that on the road now.

If anyone is looking for a whole bundle of sub woofer etc. etc. wiring then let me know. I have a load of it which was left in my car by the previous owner and looks to be good quality kit. Will take photos later on and post up here if anyone wants to take it off my hands (for the cost of a few pints of course )

*jealous* I've sat in a DB9 The garage I got my VR from had a V8 and a DB9 in when I went to test drive my car. I walked straight past the Golf for a laugh and said "yes I'll have this one please, I've brought my chequebook"...lol...so as I was so cheeky the man threw me the keys and said "oh go on then, get in".. And the deal is my friends..if I got ten people to buy a car from them, I can have a DB9 for a weekend!!!!! Trouble is they only really deal in supercars and hi-performance stuff so I have to sit and think who do I know with pots of cash who can afford to buy a car there..hmmm...(i

Hmm yes I know half the fun of the drive will be taken away by not having to change gears! I was just thinking along the lines of perhaps getting my suspension enhanced, better brakes blah blah, I just want me and my car to survive the whole experience!

TTT again A week Saturday folks! Anyone interested? Been trying to get on Dubstock forum (have registered but it won't let me log in now..gah) to ask about camping, it's free but no idea how to organise the plots with them, imagine there might be some kind of mad rush and then can't get on site! Looking highly likely I will be going for the weekend anyway, just need to make a phone call to mates in Zummerzet to get them to come up the M5 and we're there! Much drinking of brown boozes to be had!

Hmmm 50 odd pages from last year! Can we not simplify it for thickos, i.e. me? I'm wanting to know are things like: Do I need to do anything special to my car to help it get there and back in one piece? Remembering my car has had NO special work done to it, ever, so all this talk of remaps and adding bits and bobs is pretty alien to me, you all might as well speak in Vulcan, honest! Forgive me!

I'll be booking soon enough too, if not this week, next. Maybe we should have a big list for the ring noobs (i.e. me) what we need to take, what we need to do etc etc. Have never even driven abroad but well looking forward to probably going the wrong way round a roundabout! LOL

Incidentally I was reading up earlier on the K&N induction kit, £79 at Awesome. Gonna drop in soon for a service and will chat to them about fitting one. The instructions to fit look relatively easy but I just don't trust myself with anything mechanical! I'm confused by the earlier post though about not bothering, from what I've heard it makes sense to get cooler air in rather than have the air box in there and although I'm not terribly fussed about having loads more horses, the potential for better fuel consumption would be a bonus!
