    managed to get a bit done to today .... welded up the exhaust mani as was cracked .... and put the car on 4 run up ramps to allow me to play with the rear end at the weekend ....

    need to get it on vag com mate and see what codes are in the ECU and go from there ....

    why not use a mk4 battery tray and a set of long jump leads cut the clamps off and put some battery terminals on one end and some solder joints on to the other for the starter motor and earth, and join the extra positive leads on the new cables ????

    The GTI Festival – ‘Season Finale’ is for enthusiasts of all VAG marques, SEAT, Skoda, Audi and of course Volkswagen. Now the Volkswagen Group includes Lamborghini, Bentley and Bugatti too, but the closest we will probably come to seeing any of those will be Bentley rims shoehorned under late Golf arches! This is our last chance as a club to all meet up at at show and have a chat, a laugh and to see some racing, talk about our winter plans/projects and get a few club photos of all the members together and all their cars.
