    Ok guess not then! Anyone know a good place to get an exchange crank from then? And also how much do decent 2nd hand engines from a breaker usually go for?

    Does anyone know if there are stroker kits available for the vr6, and if so how much?. A big end bearing went on mine and the crank is nakered so thought stroking it may be an option.

    FAO motormadj - just looked at those pics of ur car. Looks nice! i was just wondering where u got your front indicators/fogs from, or did u tint the yourself. they look much better than the smoked crystal ones i keep finding on te net. P.S. sorry for hijacking

    Mine does the same, and it really pis**s me off! My old tdi did the same (before it got wrote off). Any solutin would be gd.

    Anyone got a picture of the miltek twin jet on a VR? i've been thinking of getting one but have only seen the pictures in the adverts in magazines.

    Is it worse when therres weight in the back of the car? i had a tdi that did the same and it was because the rear axle bushes were absalutly sha##d!

    Get it reset anyway. even if the lights gone out the fault code will probably still be stored in the cars memory.

    I was thinking of getting another manfold so i can polish it and still run my car. Was just wondering if theres any differance between obd1 and obd2 manifolds?

    Someone i know told me that putting an inlet manifold from an audi a4 2.8 onto a vr6 can give quite a bit extra power. i searched this forum and others but cant find anything about this and was wondering if its true?

    How much do the elements cost? The only part of mine that work is the passanger side seat back.
