    Hi all. Been away from the dub scene for a while now I have a scratch that needs itching. I'm after a nice Vr6 highline in either colour the newer the better r or s reg, rare in know. I would like a standard example or as close as if possible. I know these cars suffer with rust at this age so please be honest. So pm me with any links or pics please cash waiting. Regards Jon.

    hi everyone, not been on here in a long time due to me selling my various golfs and ending up with a type r, anyway i hope everyone is well and i have a question to ask, i have just bought for the wife a mk3 gti for a run around car, it has recaro interior which is red and black with the recaro stiched in red, it turns out that its a 3 door interior in a 5 door but, the wife dont like it so my question is, would anyone like to buy it? obviously i would need to swap your interior otherwise i would have nothing to sit on! and your interior must be in good condition, fire some questions to me an

    could be a lot of things, air flow meter, coolant temp sensor, lambda probe, best thing to do is as anyone on here will tell you, get it on vagcom and the will tell you whats wrong, hope this helps, regards jon.

    could be that the tyres are distorted on the rear? that can make a droaning noise.

    could be the heat sheild on the bottom of the cat, i had the same on mine at certain revs, get a local garage to put it on the ramp and remove the heat sheild (if it is that!) regards jon.

    sounds like it could be the chains, do a search on here and you will find a thread with the noise on, and see if its the same noise as yours.

    as ^^^^ says someone on here will have vagcom near you, a bit of beer money job jone.

    sounds like a sensor has gone, maybe more than one, if it was on before the brake change, the handbrake light is also connected to the abs system, to the front sensors so vince at stealth told me when he chcked mine with the laptop, the best thing to do is get it hooked up to vag come to check for any fault codes, regards jon.

    sounds like it could be your alternator not giving charge to the battery?

    yea i had a clifford and mine looked like that, if its the same as mine its to dissable the whole alarm if the battery goes flat on the fob, you enter a specific code that its set to.

    could the fans themselves be faulty? causing it to back feed and blow the fuse.

    what does the pm care how much a litre of fuel costs, i bet he doesent pay it, there more interested in buying goods for there second home!!!! i cant even afford one home, t@ssers there all out for themselves,

    sounds like either, antiroll bar bushes or,anti roll bar links or, bottom arm bushes, either of these could give a squeek or knocking.

    sounds like the air flow meter to me? very common on golfs, sometimes vagcom doesnt pick up the air flow meter as a problem, regards jon.

    you need the camber and tracking done, that will sort out the uneven wear, regards jon.
