  1. Just noticed JP automotive are across the pond ?
  2. Thanks I'll give him a try.
  3. How impossible are they to contact ?!?! Im felling a bit disapointed to be honest. Im not sure if i can trust them with my money and ecu if they cant pick up the phone to chat to them about there products.
  4. Thanks chaps, really looking forward to the better weather and making more improvements.
  5. This quick phone cam picture makes me very happy. Fitted my replacement Vibratechnics Gearbox mount today. Also a new secondary water pump and a new inlet manifold temp sensor.
  6. I know. I'm just waiting for it to arrive now.
  7. The nice chaps at Vibratechnics have sent me another gearbox mount free of charge. Hopfully going to get it fitted this weekend as the solid competition one is doing my head in.
  8. Bugger. I might give them a call then and get a fast road gearbox mount.
  9. So today was the fitting of engine mounts. Unfortunately I've been given competition mounts. So the ride is is a bit harsh. Hopefully they will sofen up as I can't be arsed changing them again. I bought a couple hockey pucks to raise the engine but the vibratechnics front mount has a nut rather than a bolt so i can't fit a hockey puck. Next month, New software.
  10. No problem. A little update from me. As I've made the wise choice to keep the car I've bought some new goodies.
  11. Very Cool. Dont hear of many Mk3s on Air.
  12. Piece of cake. Remove blanks by popping out from fog light end. Remove both screws from fog light then pop them out from the middle out. Squeeze terminal from.the back and disconnect. Job done. Shouldn't take 2 mums.
  13. The mod i did was a waste of money. So i reverted back to the flowerpot. I cut a inch off the plastic intake pipe (still keeping a rib, to prevent the pipe from slipping off) and turned the holes to the outside.
  14. Thanks, i cant wait to get it back on the Compomotives and lower again. Im, also fitting some new bits to it this month.
  15. Ive really been enjoying driving the car this week. So i have decided to keep it. Updates soon :-p

    VRT Sound

Turbo charged motors tend to be a bit quieter than Supercharged or NA motors. Mine can drone on a bit with the decatted Miltek.
  17. I changed from a yellow to a green spring in my Forge dv007. But i have also turned the valve so the boost pressure is coming in from the side. Like a 20v turbo setup. So the Spring is only resisting againsed vacume pressure.

    VRT Sound

It's tje same thing with my supercharged vr6. It's lost the induction sound. But its gained a mental exhaust note !
  19. I'm pretty sure that for V1-V3 chargers you have to cut a hole in the chassis leg for the return hose.
  20. Although when i went to fit me de-cat pipe i had to dril the exsisting downpipe holes a bit to fit the M8 bolts that were supplied with the de-cat.
  21. No reason really. I've always wanted one but my sensible head tells me to sell. Athough if it doesn't sell by the end of Jan I'm going to carry on with the project.
