Ive ordered 2 belts from my local factors. I'll report back once ive found out what fits.

Im still not 100% as there are alot of numbers being thrown about the Vortex forum, I think i might just wait and see what size i need once ive recived the kit and ive mocked it all up.

Ok after doing some research on belt sizes form the link that caddyslammed posted up ive found the following. Vortex forum suggest that the belt maybe 53.5" long for a non aircon belt for a Supercharger. After calling a friend that is the exact same length as a Standard aircon belt without the charger (1360mm). So im just trying to back this up with a little more evidence.

Called Regal, They dont do belts at all anymore.

I'm going to give Regal autosport a call in the morning to see if i can get a non aircon one as i know they still sell vf belts.

Sorry to hi Jack the thread but if you find out where to get a non Aircon belt can you let me know asap. As I was going to get the pully modified to suit a aircon belt.

Im about to Install a complete 2nd hand supercharger kit inc the chipped ECU from the the other car. Will i need to code in my keys or is that only for when you change clocks ? Thanks

Ive just had a word with John at VRT. The bracket you have in the picture is for aircon models apparently. John is going to add an aditional pully to take up the slack that the Aircon pump would have used. like the one in the pic i posted Thanks for all your help.

Ahh rite so when you bough the kit new you had a choice of 2 brackets. So the spare non-aircon one you got there is unused ?

Thanks. I have the bracket, but just not the additional pully that goes on the bracket to take the slack out that the air con pump would usually use. Does anyone know where you can buy belts for them ?

I replaced this part recently also. I belive the part number you need is 1J0 711 256 its called a carrier.

Ive had a search and am struggling. Im about to buy a 2nd hand V9F Supercharger kit, but the VR6 its comming off has Airconditioning. What i need is the aditional pully (or a smaller belt) for me to be able to use it on my Non Aircon VR6. Can anyone point me in the rite direction on where to get parts ? Thanks.

Hello Everyone. Here is my firtst VR6, This picture was taken after 1 week of ownership. Ive recently had some time off work and have given it a winter detail. Ive also changed the lights up front for Joey items, with standard tinted indicators and fogs. Ive also had another bumper smoothed, painted and fitted a new VR6 spillter (as old bumper and splitter were damaged). The next stage is more power with a Stage 1 V9F supercharger that ive bought from VRTDan. I may fit this befor winter, but am not sure yet.

Ive been wondering about this Oil question also. Opie oils recomends 10w-40 Semi Synth as the 'Standard' oil to put in or 5W-40 Fully Synth as a 'upgraded' oil.
