  1. yep no fish for me. ill pay mine start of next week
  2. yep what dealey boy said. i cant see it being bearings.. though driving with one bolt in wont help. the fact youve gone through 2 clutches is somewhat of a worry.. but bent clutch forks are quite commn. did you replace it ?
  3. what kev said is correct but for a na vr, new standard gearbox and rear mounts work fine with a solid front mount. its something ive done on many of my golfs ,and never had a problem , even with stainkess manifolds.. the main is to make sure you have a decent flex mounted in the exhaust just before the cat..
  4. a lightend flywheel will allow the car to rev and fall quicker.. so it will feel like an increase in torque
  5. standards are fine.. or do a solid front and leave the rest as was. solid froint is around 45 quid..
  6. nice... we'll sort that light out a billing.. ill bring me laptop and both my cables..
  7. yeah nat thats fine.. witham bp it is.. ill sort the tim ewith you a bit closer to the event
  8. id love to come , but im travelling back from devon.. never know i may make a apperance.. ands then unleash some more boost
  9. well , i ve yet to buy the cooler, but i cant see a 13 row not doing the job, i dont wanna freeze the oil, just cool it a bit. space is a issue for me, but im thinking behind my front grill as my intercooler stops were that starts., or i may stick it behind me passenger side morrete, as i have a small battery and no second lights, just mesh
  10. check lambda to see what the lambda's doing.. remember it will add/take a maxiumum of 25 % extra over anything youve fitted.. and if you log the o2 voltage, you can work out what afr you have , as specific voltage will match with a a afr i.e 0.8 v - 13.5 afr there is a chart on the net if you google it , afr to voltage
  11. yeah ill be going a12 , a414 and probaly meet at mc'ds in harlow , just ont the 414/m11 interchange , then convoy in from there
  12. where you mounted yours.. pics please, very intrested in turbo/charged pics.. as im a bit stuck as where to mount it at the mo oh and did you encounter any problems ? when installing it thx jim
  13. 9'S aint bad for a auto.. i had a auto 200sx and once rolling , it was probay quicker through corners, as i didnt have to do 3 things at once.
  14. no mines around 5.2 sec's , although not a 0 - 60 car, there not to bad at the odd launch
  15. may work, best to visit a scrap yard with some rouch dimensions idea's... or find a v confirgured turbo lump and try that.. or order the bits you ned form jetex and weld one up yourself.
  16. yeah ill stick a pic up tommorrow for you
  17. omex rev limiter with launch control.. around 100 squid.. gonna give it a try and if its not what i want , i will sell it on.
  18. yep i ave around 400 - 440 bhp a the mo.. and its the limit of sensible.. still thats only at 1 bar or 14.7 psi, so ive got scope for more, just not sure my pants can take it traction becomes a problem on anything over 300 bhp imho. around 300 is fine for a eveyday sensible car. as for the turbo v charger, well it could run and run, you need to decided what goals you have and work from there
  19. nice one mate, ill have launch control by then should even the lsd no lsd thing out a bit
  20. ah yeah saw that on there.. not nice at all.. i think the 306 that weekend brought home the harsh realitly of motorsport and what can happen . still they are the odd occassions rather than the norm
  21. stick mounts are fine, as long as you have a proper flexi at the bottom of the down pipe.. my mate has my old one fitted to his car, its around 3 years old now and no cracking
  22. any news ben.. i feel the need the need for speed
