    I would put some money to it and get the engine rebuilt totaly and then start saving again. I know its not what you want to hear ,but the mileage is a bit high to be charging at the time of your engines life others may disagree ,but i always like to air on the side of caution.

    An airbag should be fine unless its been deployed which is a no brainer then it would need replaced

    You need to chill out man this is one of the best if not best sites for info on the vr6 .People are very friendly here ,but you have to give them a chance as they are not on 24/7 i`m sorry if you feel its clicky .I can assure you they are not trying to offend you in anyway.

    mine was silver with same spec ,but only 3 doors and 37000 miles and i sold it for 7000

    Hi there mate and welcome to the site . £3000 budget will get you a sweet vr as prices seem to be quite low just now,as for fuel consumption well ask anyone on here and you will get the same reply " smiles per gallon". It`s the one and only way to describe the best car you will ever own .I have had 2 mk 3 vr6`s and my current is a 4-motion ,but its not the same hence the reason i have just sold it .I should have never got rid of my last one .
