  1. I build truck engines regularly and all the years I've been in this game I swear by plenty if new fresh engine oil. Worked for the guys that trained me, and the guys that trained them etc etc. really don't see the point in all this fancy expensive stuff
  2. Yes you can, there will be an unswept area of disc on the inside of about 10mm but make sure you but front calipers not rears. I'm doing all this research myself right now as I'm looking to do the same.
  3. Right, I'll cut to the chase, will they fit under 17" wheels? Team dynamics pro race 1.2 I'm thinking? Really want some, but the while research thing is getting tricky now. Secondly, I've seen some well priced porsche calipers which are advertised as "Boxster rears" but the part numbers are 996.351.421 and 996.351.422 are these fronts or rears because I want fronts??
  4. Fuck the family, I pick my cars for me because I can lol! I'd love to try an E92 M3 with the V8 in it, I've never driven a V8 engined car until today and it is mostly the sound that makes it what it is. I have seen many reports that say the M3 beats the RS4 for a few reasons so now I'm intrigued...
  5. And it was quite literally fecking awesome!!! Just thought if share that, my day in work has been made a lot easier having been for a blast in one of drivers new RS4. If anyone's ever driven or been in one I'm sure you'll agree that V8 is intoxicating and the feedback and feel of the car is thrilling! So there we have it, MK6 R, defender 90 and MK3 VR all for sale, I need an RS4 in my life!
  6. Take a picture a bit further back mate it's hard to tell
  7. I've posted this in the hangout lads, because it's not specific to a VR. Has anyone got access to autodata or similar that could give me the factory cylinder compression spec for a 98 T reg 1.0 polo? Having a problem with the old mans motor and need to run a compression test ASAP... Any info is welcomed
  8. FISHHHHHH!!!!! I've bin on red since 3pm so excuse me but that's a school boy error. I love school boy errors we all have me and it brings a bit of laughter to the day
  9. Giving this a bump lads, it's gone stale....
  10. That tells me they're here but they're hiding from us
  11. We need a VRgirlz section within this OC i think
  12. I haven't tried it in the 6R yet but I have read that it can help consumption.
  13. I only ever used to average 21-23 ish when I used mine daily, driving a 14 mile commute each way at the time. That was normal everyday driving, no heavy foot. I think paceo MPG is about right really. Even now I only get 24-26 from my mk6 R, that's only a 4 cyl!
  14. You need to brim it again and see how many liters it takes to fill it. Then it can be calculated.
  15. I think there's something happening........ Think about work think about work think about work!!!
  16. I need to meet these people, sounds like my perfect lady
  17. Sorry fudge kebab, if it was a vr6 we may be able to help, but who on earth would post up a question about a vr6 on this Nissan forum
  18. 17x7.5 will be fine in the front, I've done it many times with no arch work up front. 8.5 on the back will sit too far in with et35, may need spacers. I used to run bmw bbs, 8.5j rear on adaptors whic resulted in a final offset of around et23. I think. Rear arches are rolled on mine and it sat just perfect.
  19. Hand held wire brush, a tin of elbow grease and plenty of fresh oil. By the time you've finished you'll have learnt a valuable lesson.
