Well thanks for all the info, when payday cometh, my short shifter fate shall be decided!

Wow, top quality, group buys are the way to go!!! I see you've used it conjunction with a fabled Shrick manifold (I've heard good things about these) I take it they do work together, or do you have to modify the manifold to run forced induction? Cheers

Yeah but no but yeah but no but, oh I don't know, suppose you're right really, I don't want to do too much, but I do wanna make her smooth if nothing else.

Essex Girl enters a sex shop & asks for a vibrator. The man says "Choose from our range on the wall." She says "I'll take the red one." The man replies "That's a fire extinguisher."

Look even better when she's had a clean and polish and things lol, might crack on with that this weekend, and get her poshed up for some nice pics. Pete, I see your avatar has a damn tasty looking turbo charger!! Have you had it fitted, or are you going to? A bit of forced induction would be right up my street if you wouldn't mind sharing any info on the pitfalls and pros a turbo may have? Cheers

Are they any good with enigne builds and forced induction? Just for when the time is right )

Two Mexicans are stuck in the desert, wandering aimlessly and close to death. They are close to just lying down and waiting for the inevitable, when all of a sudden... "Hey Pepe, do you smell what I smell. Ees bacon, I is sure of eet". "Si, Luis, eet smells like bacon to meee". So, with renewed strength, they struggle off up the next sand dune, and there, in the distance, is a tree, just loaded with bacon. There's raw bacon, dripping with moisture, there's fried bacon, back bacon, double smoked bacon...every imaginable kind of cured pig meat you can imagine!! "Pepe, Pepe, we ees saved. Eees a

I like both ideas there, i'd like to change the front bumper for a nice deep item, but smooth, and that retains the fogs, of which the crystals are a nice idea. Any ideas on the bumper i'm after, and where would I get the crystal fogs from?

How do you fix a woman's watch? You don't. There is a clock on the oven. Sorry ladies

Thanks for all the advice, by the way i'm in Royston Hertfordshire which is 100 miles away from the Phirm, having said that, i'd be willing to travel, cos I swear my arm is getting longer!!! Do the Phirm do anything and everything?

A bus carrying only ugly people crashes into an oncoming truck, and everyone inside dies. They then get to meet their maker, and because of the grief they have experienced; he decides to grant them one wish each, before they enter Paradise. They're all lined up, and God asks the first one what the wish is. "I want to be gorgeous," and so God snaps his fingers, and it is done. The second one in line hears this and says "I want to be gorgeous too." Another snap of his fingers and the wish is granted. This goes on for a while but when God is halfway down the line, the last guy in line starts la

Apologies in advance if there's any scousers here! A scouser walked into the local job centre, marched straight up to the counter and said "Hi, I'm looking for a job". The man behind the counter replied "Your timing is amazing. We've just got one in from a very wealthy man who wants a chauffeur/bodyguard for his nymphomaniac twin daughters. You'll have to drive around a big black Mercedes and wear the uniform provided. The hours are a bit long but the meals are provided. You also have to escort the young ladies on their overseas holidays. The Salary package is £200,000 a year". The Scouser

Whilst in the process of getting my beloved Highline up to my own personal tastes, I was wondering what the current view on short shifters are? I'm still fairly new to VR6 country, but as such, am already fully aware that a rather delicate cable arrangement is in place to swap the ole cogs, but the throw on the gearstick is monsterous!! I don't know whether the previous owner had buggered about with it, but i near enough have to lean out of my seat for reverse, 1st and 3rd!! And the gear lever sticks in reverse too, is this a common problem? I'd also hazard a guess that cable change is a bit

Try these, they've done me a good turn or 2 in the past... Avenue Panel 2a, Sanders Lodge Industrial Estate, Rushden, Northamptonshire NN10 6BQ Tel: 01933 313945

Right then, all things being equal, you should see 3 council estate pics of my Mulberry Highline. Could anyone tell me if she was a previous member's car? Lowered 40mm on SPAX PSX suspension, Pipercross Viper induction kit, 17" BBS RC alloys, Scorpion cat back exhaust with Boxer tip, mk4 style headlights, smooth grill. I want to keep her subtle, but also stand out from the crowd, any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks all

What room has no ceiling, floor, windows, doors or walls?
-
Oh bottom!! I will resubmit when I can work out how to!! Thanks for letting me know!
-
Hmm, I do see where you're coming from, and I was looking at adding some smooth skirts and rear apron to bring the rest of the car into a tastefully modern form, but on reflection, the R-RX i've shown looks like it'd need an arch kit to match it's width! Thanks for the opinion though, and good choice on yours

No problem, and good luck with getting it sorted out!

Not the best pics in the world, would love to get some nice one's done in the future! Could anyone tell me if this was a previous member's car? BBS RC 17" alloys and 40mm drop on SPAX PSX adjustables Scorpion cat back exhaust with Boxer tailpipe I'm after doing other things to it to make it stand out from the crowd, but I want to keep it subtle, what are good things to do? Many thanks to you all as always

I'd say this would have an affect yes, if the lambda sensor was at an angle in the original, then it's safe to say it was put like that as an aid to measuring the constituants of the exhaust more accurately (if the sensor was made to read better at said angle), and as it's related to sending calculations back to the ECU to keep the AFR correct, then i'd say to take it back and get them to reposition it. Also, if there is a leak in the boss joint, the sensor could be reading additional oxygen, which would knock you're fuelling out anyway. Hope this helps

Absolutely no problem, suppose i'd better get myself some tools together again (had about £3,000) nicked just before I left my last job, and as i'm fully qual, I could do pretty much most things. Suppose it's what happens when you get a good paid job! I just got lazy!! Good luck, I hope your Golf gets better soon

Right, probably going to offend the tasteful of you, but I was considering this Rieger R-RX front bumper for mine, I thought it was quite nice. Think it would look lovely in Mulberry? If not, what recommendations would you guys have, mine's already got Mk4 clear deflector type headlights and smooth grill, many thanks as always!
