    For you friend to say an S4 will wipe a "charged" VR is an odd statement. Surely, It must depend on how charged it is to start with. The Carpi VW is "charged" and I reckon that would laugh at the S4 with 500+ BHP. The other thing I find odd is comparing a 4.2 to a 2.8 ? If it was a turbo'd 2.7 like they used to be then sure slap a turbo on the VR and then compare, but comparing 4.2s to 2.8 seems silly. And to slate a standard R32 vs the S4 which again has the bigger engine is odd. Might aswell go out and get a F1 car and say it is quicker than a Fiat Punto ? Does your friend have somethi

    Is a guestimate m8, I get 27-30 mpg when driving normally on motorways, so I would just assume that towing a load would reduce it abit.

    Bored at work and have got myself thinking about Rotex Superchargers. Okay, If I was thinking about initially Supercharging my car to say 300BHp with a final goal of 400BHP. Would I be better off getting a C30-94 which has the potential of 250-400BHp and starting with a 300BHp pully and changing it for a 400 when ready or.... Getting a C38-61 which has the potential of 300-550BHp and buying the relevant pulleys for 300 and 400BHp. Would this have more lag similar to larger turbos ? or.. Getting the 550 BHp C38-61 pulley and fitting a by-pass valve to limit the boost to 300 or 400 ? Would t

    I assume by those supplying pleading ignorance you mean a certain vw modifier that sells that manifold on ebay ? If so then I think I will take my friends offer up and let him make me one.

    Okay cool. I understand that the LHD boys (an gals) would not have a problem. Was just that Bill said the RHD peeps had no problems either. Anyway thx for the replies, will get a RHD manifold instead. Was going to order so stuff from SPTurbo and wondered whether it was worth getting the manifold while I was at it.

    Jeez. That was quick. Okay so not so straight forward as getting a RHD manifold then. I thought I read somewhere else on this forum about needing to move the reservoir but when Bill said that they had no issues then I thought maybe it just bolted on a cleared. Thanks for the quick reply

    Just a quick query. I E-mailed Bill at SP Turbo about a RHD turbo manifold and he said that they don't make a RHD manifold but has sold many ATP turbo manifolds to RHD VR6 owners and they have had no problems. Anyone on these forums used that manifold ? If so was it straight forward ?

    As Subject. What rear suspension bushes is everyone using ? I seem to be going through them every 3-6 months ?? They are standard VW ones. Now that would not be too bad if I drove serious miles but I do about 2-3k a year ? An ideas ? The car is on lowered suspension but my first set lasted about 24months. the only thing I can think of is I used to have 15" wheels, now I have 17s. Surely that is not it ? An ideas ?
