  1. Forgot the all important dyno printouts (if you can see them properly?!)......
  2. Couple of updated pics, showing engine bay and my current lights (changed headlights from the angel eyes, to black mk4 style projectors. Also changed bulb on the indicators to clear ones, as the orange ones looked sh*t! Oh and black side repeaters.....can't really see them in the pic, but that's the idea!)
  3. Just seen this, Tony. Sorry to hear it mate, but at least you're looking forwards and upwards with your other business plan Sometimes it takes something like this to give us a kick up the ass into doing something better. May be a blessing in disguise
  4. You know I would use you mate, as have done previously for several things and would def recommend you to anyone i know Do you reckon there would be enough regular work like this though? If there is, then I would say definately go for it. I guess you just need to make sure you have a plan B for if / when the work does dry up a bit.
  5. You wouldn't even wanna use them if you spent that much on a pair of wheels! Feckin ridiculous if you ask me!!
  6. Got any Blocparty in there? If not, i request that yeah I have the album on mine matey Excellentay (h)
  7. Nice one. Their earlier stuff is best, but if you don't know them then i guess it'll be like a lucky dip!
  8. I thought being caught over a certain speed (correct me if i'm wrong, but think it may actually be 97mph) is an automatic ban anyway, regardless of how long you've had license, or which environment you were speeding in? There is also that rule about points being doubled for offences within first two years of getting your license. So all in all, I don't fancy your chances, tbh. Best bet in my opinion, is to plead guilty and try the letter from your employer thing, then keep everything crossed! Hard lesson learned, by sounds of it
  9. What a find! Very nice mate and with plenty of tricks already on there, a great base for building on it. I think the 240bhp figure is more realistic than the other figures you have had suggested. But even so, plenty of power there as a starting point
  10. Cheers Ben. Will be interesting to see the difference between our cars, given that I'm missing that extra bit of boost. Need to see what i'm missing out on!
  11. Thanks Helen / Mark And yes, always better when other people are doing you a favour. Gary - you know it mate
  12. Bit too early for me, as i've got commitments in the morning. But I will leave off around 11:30am and see you guys there.
  13. Ok thought it was about time I set up a thread on this section. I don't have pics of every stage of the changes, but this is a bit of a fast-track version, so here goes...... pics of when i first bought him, completely standard: First thing I had to do was sort the suspension, so courtesy of a Premium members group buy, got myself a bargain on some FK Highsport adjustable coilovers. Next on the list of 'must do's' was to get one of these bad boy's fitted: This completely transforms the sound of the engine and most definately gave me my biggest smile, in terms of mods (up until recently).
  14. Found this, which i thought may give people some useful advice / info: http://www.matey-matey.com/exhausts.shtml
  15. I'm down for a bit of club stand action
  16. Sorry guys, but didn't realise it was my sisters 21st birthday that weekend, so i'm not gonna make it Really gutted, cos this (and Billing) was the event I had planned to DEFINATELY go to this year and now I can't Sorry if it messes up your plans for club camping.
  17. Try Brentacre or A.Flux. Always best to shop around anyway. 9 times out of 10 you'll find a cheaper quote.
