    why cant u just get a credit card with 6 months interest free buy your tools then pay them off everytime you r doing a job then u can take all your reciepts in to your accountant and claim the money back for expenditures then u can keep your car and do it in your own time thats what i did as im a gas enginner i thought it was just a shame to break as its getting really hard to find a decent mk3 now

    either seal or u have corrosion as lots of dirt gets stuck behind then rusts

    cheers lads makes me feel alot better im in a 08 plate caddy van (company van) as im a gas enginner so dont really use it always in the garage but brings a smile everytime i drive it but because its not bmw or a mercedes im too old for my car now

    i know it sounds wierd asking how old people are but my wife keeps moaning at me to sell my syncro and buy a proper a car as she recons im to old to be driving a vr6 now ,i wont be selling as i luv my car too much and im 37,38 in november just wanted to see if im the only old git in the club thanks

    im running stage 2 at moment but may run stage 3 at a later date i have the intercooler kit that comes with the stage 3 kit and uprated in line fuel pump all from vf but that front tensioner is the stage 3 upgrade from stage 2 and u only need it if u r non aircon

    u have a race by-pass which u need to have from stage 2 and above the bracket is to hold the supercharger to the side of the engine that looks like a stage 3 pulley and and the belt tensioner is the stage 3 upgrade from the the stage 2 as u r using the same belt but the pulley is smaller as its stage 3 the tensionor pulley sits behind the alternator pulley rather than the stage 2 which sits infront thats what gives u the extra tension that tensioner is for non air con cars

    only person that has done one was someone in america 5-6-yrs ago was a mullberry colour and was a vr6 with 3 turbos and was in performance vw

    all those badges r obsolete now so be careful as ones on ebay whether there second hand or new or selling for silly money at the moment

    u can still do it up and keep all the bits from your car so that way u have the choice to keep it modified or turn it back to standard if u ever sell ive got a syncro and ive modified but kept all the bits to turn back to standard

    cant praise c2 motorsport enough did a excellent job and mapped it very quickly

    few pics of car changed wings as found rot in bottom of wings so managed to find a second hand set in green but will do for now as saving for full respray had c2 map car running about 300bhp now runs and goes faultlessly and painting under arches and floor pan of car hopefully back on the road soon as broke my leg in january

    im having trouble uploading pics i used to be ok but for some reason it dosent upload and says pics r too big now,how do i downsize pics as not sure what to do thanks for any help

    mk3 are notorious for this also while you are poking around pull out the front arch liners as all the dirt sits at the bottom of the wing and starts rusting the bottom of the wings and corrodeds the front of the sills and floor pan also check front and back floor grommets as they corrode around there aswell just in case
