Not a fan of the VW bit to be honest
-
Don't like crystal style m3 rears on a mulberry golf. I think the standard lights look good to be honest. Seen a mulberry with the all red Hellas and it looked really good even though it sounds a bit dodgy.

Lowered it a bit more so thought I would take some more pics. Sorry about it not being clean and the crap picture quality. -
What set up are you running? VF9 stage 2 with a 12psi pulley? What other mods are required to see that sort of power?
-
I would like to 2nd that. Raj has been more than helpfull with my stupid questions and requests since buying my charger in the last group buy. Cheers!

I just did the front one.

It was £2k including VAT for the stage 2 last year. Best £2k I have ever spent. It came without the software so you would require a custom remap to get the most out of it. Should be around £500 for the remap and also a good idea to get an uprated front engine mount (about £120-£150 ish) And I paid to have mine fitted because I am rubbish at that sort of thing. Cost £3k in total. Sounds like a lot but it's definately worth it.

If you are looking to order a load of stuff from them I could well be interested in the stage 3 upgrade if the price is right

My insurance was about £500 last year with 5 years NCB. Original renewal quote I got back from my insurers was £750 after the charger was fitted (280bhp) I rung round all the usual specialist VW insurers and got in down to £540 fully comp and protected NCB. About £400 excess though but still very happy with that.

Anyone running a stage 3 SC kit in a Golf?
Mr Anderson replied to Mr Anderson's topic in Engine Tuning
Would that not cost about the same if not more than the stage 3? Might be another option though. I suppose that any route to more power now will mean spending loads more cash. -
Anyone running a stage 3 SC kit in a Golf?

Sorry for all the stupid questions but that consists of a side mounted intercooler, fuel pump and pulley right? Any other work need doing to the engine to be running that sort of power and do all the parts fit in without any major problems? -

So what BHP would be expected from a stage 3 upgrade and has anyone fitted a stage 3 without all the other mods? Nos would be cool but I would rather the power was there all the time although I imagine it would be a hell of a lot cheaper than other options. -

Been thinking about water injection. 8bhp ain't bad considering its a good idea just to get it done for the good of the engine. Aquamist kits are around the £500 mark though aren't they? Lizard. Gutted for you, must be really disappointed. What charger are you running and what was the bhp before? Any idea what the problem was? -
Want a bit more power from my car and was wondering what the best way to go would be? Not including getting a turbo, what is the best way of pushing a bit more power out of a VR with a stage 2 VF supercharger fitted? The car has a decat and magnex stainless exhaust but other than that and the SC the engine is standard. Pros and cons of different ideas would be very heplful too. Cheers

Been having so much hassle with my car ever since I had a supercharger fitted but I won't bore you with all the details as recently I thought it had been running better than ever.....until now. Just been out for a bit of a fun drive and everything seemed to be perfect with the car until I started to head home. When accelerating hard the car felt fine up to about 2.5-3K the the power just went, kind of felt like it does when you hit the rev limiter and the engine made a sort horrible burberly sound. It seems to do it in all gears (only accelerated hard in 2nd and 3rd after the problem started
