    those gaskets are more a 1.8T thing , i could see it making more sense if ur wacking ur VR on ITBs . but like mk3anni said heat rises and soaks into the standard manifold . maybe if you have the manifold off for some reason ie top end work . might as well put one on it whilst ur puttin it back together .     outer casing? might get away with it if it runs fine and you dont mind a bloody big crack being there lol . why not hold out till whats his name Ibvr or something? :S lol finishes the MSD ignition coil packs kit? youd be repairing the crack and upgrading , all for a smaller/similar sum as standard replacement

    have a quick gander round the engine for general leaks , what milige has it done ? as long as it runs fine and the oil loss aint excessive ie toppin up every jorney . id just forget about it keep an eye on it dont let it drop too low

    i know its complete the wrong site to post this on , but im after a more down to earth opinion , dont get that on game sites :S . lol but im stuck in two minds of what console to buy ? its between the X-box 360 and the PS3 when it comes out ,march time i think . ones like 200 quid ones est 400 . ive played the 360 and theres some excellent driving games on it , i was impressed with project gotham racing and summat called test drive unlimited . the wii is out of the question , hate the damn thing lol i just cant decide !! arrrg LoL help

    does it burn/use any oil? blue smoke ect? . could be valve stem oil seals showing slight wear ? probly nothing to worry about if it isnt loseing oil Liam
