nah i dont think mk4 badging suits mk3s or anything apart from mk4s tbh. yeah noise would be only give away, i had 17s on my 1.4 tho, drove pants tho

Had the car 5 months and finally got round to doing.... Bonnet repray, front wings (stone chips) roof repray(rust) Tailgate respray (smooth badge+wiper) Debadged Grill, VR6 splitter Full s/s jetex oval system picked u some CL side strips for a 5er so doing that next, if theres not too much rust under there, tempted to change the splitter to a abt one looks like i need a new camera

yet another arch Q!! is there a step by step guide on here for arch removal? i just picked a Full set of CL arch trims for £5 from the scrappy !lol iv heard of ppl paying loads i want to check under there for rust, being an L reg im dreading it. if its too bad i might just keep the arch trims, i think they look good. if the rust i find is past the inner lip then will a simple rub down and repray from a body shop do the trick , or wil they need to rolled

i have the 17x7s on mine lowed 50mm and mine dont catch ever. isnt it best to cut the inside part if it covered in rust tho? and weld new metal on?

I had my 1.4 golf 3 years till i got my VR (now 24) its a big step even if you are a good driver. youd be better off waitin a while but its your choice. theres no way around it, i pay 760 on the vr now but paid 1500 on my 1.4 3 years ago :@ -

finding it very hard to keep my windsor blue vr clean. im using triple wax then rinse and shammy it. but coming up very smeary every time :@ using a imatation shammy not very absorbant

Just wondering what every one does here? and how much money every one is pulling in. i ask because im running my VR on next to minimum wage doing general retail slavery and just seein if anyone else is in my shoes? possibly not.....

hi sharky tried switchin the relays plugs over and they dont click or come on if i sit in them, gona get a garage to look at it i reckon... prob charge me the earth tho. how much did u pay for the leather, u still got the cloth? i might know ppl after cloth at the right price
