  1. cheers mate arived today, thanks again. I'll look after it better this time. Craggsy I'll make sure it's nice and charged and let you have it at thurrock.
  2. just to the left, on the hinge itself there should be a hex grub screw. Just where the start of the top arrow stroke is, if that makes sense. In the middle of all the white stuff, waxyol I presume. And similar for the lower hinge.
  3. talking of which, how's the stealth camera coming along Jim?
  4. how about the 10:45 out on the 11th should still get us there before the track closes, or even opens! And the 17:10 back on the 15th so we don't have to push it, the previous one is at 13:30 The basic tickets for those crossings are already sold out though! I'm gonna transfer one of my voucher tickets soonest.
  5. If your are lucky you might get away with not having to adjust the hinges. In which case it's simply a matter of undoing a small grub screw on each hinge. They might have covers on. And then pulling the door up once you've disconnected the door stop strap.
  6. Even after 2009, original VRs ,registered before 2001, are not going to be CO2 banded, it will go on engine size either < 1549 or 1549 and above Section A97 http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/news/nol/shared/bsp/hi/pdfs/13_03_08bud08_completereport.pdf
  7. Since Pete has had to pull out I'll now have a spare PMR as well, as long as Cadders gets it back to me in time ;-)
  8. I'm a little worried about the number of people who don't know where we're going and the number of dropouts. I get the feeling Nigel and I will be the only people there! Cheers' date=' Andy [/quote'] Does that mean there'll be plenty of opportunity for co-piloting the TT?
  9. The cats are drilled for two lamda sensors, but the VR only uses one, the front one. The back hole is normally filled with a bolt, which often rusts away. If the thread has gone as well simply get a garage to weld over the hole.
  10. Good point. I'm defo there and defo in the hotel. Mmmmmm, toasty. But you happy campers can borrow my electric hook up cable, You'll have to provide your own kettles / heaters etc but I'll throw in a band saw, some fire lighters and a 500w floodlight.
  11. loving the photo for your new sig this might interest you: http://www.bbc.co.uk/topgear/roadtrip_submit.shtml
  12. forecast for the 'Dam is just as bad, it's the same distance, give or take, from Bolougne and I've got a nice hotel booked in Germany, so no matter what it's Nurburg for me. Even if I spend all weekend in the hotel's 'spa'.
  13. yep, times out on me as well.
  14. Breakfast is a buffet so depending on how shameless you are, lunch time snacks can be pocketed ;-) And we'll pass the Lidl on the route between hotel and 'Ring.
  15. for sure, but 'table for 30 on saturday at 8' isn't quite so universal.
  16. if we can find any where to take us all. Who speaks German?
  17. The crack of dawn start should give us time to get started on Friday! Last year I did a couple of laps before breakfast :-) From the campers I only saw Jason so early. Well worth it, even though it was Easter I barely saw another car. This year I'm planning on having breakfast first or skip it completely to save petrol.
  18. and the Bitburger. I've started on it already! A very wet 'ring (fnarr, fnarr ) reduces the number of bikers which is good for newbies and at least the grip is consistently poor
  19. as far as I know. But HellsVR hasn't logged on since Jan so must be questionable and Jake's been quiet as well but as it's his last chance before getting married I expect him to be there with his own crew. JimPotter has made dubbers of his mates so add at least another VR and 16v
