    my temp sits at 70 most of the time when on the move or stationary, once you get stuck in a bit of traffic or if the weather is really hot (yeah right!) it goes upto 90 sometimes, then the big fans cut in and temp goes down again to between 70-80, jesus those twin fans on full chat are loud!

    mine are 8jx17 on 205 40 toyo T1S`s and its lowered a lot, dont know how much but a lot! have you got coilovers? if you have it wont matter, you can adjust to suit and it will still be low

    you can get it recontioned but it means losing the car while its done etc, new one would be best bet and they arent that expensive even vw ones, gsf and euro car parts do them too, it will probably hold fine for a while until the hot weather gets here! !amazed and then it will let you down when you most need it or in the middle of nowhere! i like wildlife too but not when it f**ks my car up! ~ ps prehaps you should change your user id to "buzzardeater"

    i am sure its been done before! depend how bad it is and how accesable the damage is i suppose, some salvage places will only sell you the "chopped off" front of a car anyway so it cant go back on the road, maybe you could consider a corrado engine as they are more likely to be written off if damaged due to expensive panels, i am sure i saw a front half of a corrado at gti international last year on a trailer! and they are 2.9!!! now theres a thought! as far as i am aware its just the engine code thats different but even if the anciliaries are different you have them all on your engine and the

    i would of thought it was too far down the system to be effective for a lambda sensor? could be a US thing i suppose their emmision laws are stupid! as for VAG you would like to think but i doubt any tech at vw checks a kat that thoroughly on a service unless its hanging off! hope not anyway as mines welded up!!

    wind chill is definately a major factor! you can probably x3 the -3 !grr so even the best heater wont cope with that! cadguy has put the ebay link on for those heater things, looks pretty cool, i would get one if i lived in sweden!!
