  1. ^^^^ What Binliner said ^^^^ You'll be totally wasting you money. Drive to a VW Dealers and chat up a service advisor and they'll get a technician to test it.
  2. So have you actually had it checked or are you just assuming it maybe the Pump or ECU. Because that will be a costly assumption when the most common fault will be the sensors and I gaurentee your problem will be this...
  3. If the ABS isn't working it means it's in safety mode. Basically you will still have breaks but no ABS. This is normally due to a failing Sensor. As stated Vag-Com or a 1552 will tell which one is failing, they cost about quid and are fairly easy to change.
  4. It's the absoloute bollocks. I'm concerned I'm turning into a proper computer geek for keep playing it... Just can't stop trying to beat my own times on the Nurburg Ring. Down to 6.23.542 now in the Opel Astra Touring Car, which I think is worryingly one of the best cars on the game.
  5. I have to ask why you changed your E46 for a VR?
  6. Toby> Mins the same, it's just heat when sitting in traffic. But as you say once you're on the move it goes.
  7. The only plus side is it looks like a proper "Ring-Wagon" with satin black rims...
  8. They'll be in the hand book.
  9. Between 3k and 3.5k woudl be fair.
  10. Who ever says 15" wheels are better for a VR should come and drive mine on both sets of wheels. Just put on some 15" winter wheels (i know, a bit late) with Dunlop SP2020's on the front and Michelins on the rear. Oh my god they're truely shocking. I have to leave every junction and round about at a snails pace to avoid leaving 100' of rubber up the road. The 17" on Toyo's would only really break away when really pushed... And ACF8181 do not sudgest I fit Uniroyals!
  11. Try Phat Wheels in Sheerness, Kent. They seem to very good work. It'll only cost you £30 to courier them down...
  12. Vento Front End or Not that is the question???
  13. Longbeach were the GTI 9 spokes, just for reference.
  14. Tidy car Icy, anymore pics??
  15. You could try a Porsche dealer. I know it's obvious but at least you'd be able to find out what they are.
  16. I wasn't knocking it, I thought a remap alone is normally good for 10-15bhp. I know there only irelevant HP figures and torque counts but they do give an indication of improvement...
  17. I've had my VR for just over 2 years now and the novelty has started to dwindle. As I can't afford the current price for an Audi S4, or the current insurance price for an E36 M3 Evo I'm trying to re-excite the VR experience. What can I do that isn't going to bankrupt me, ie no s/c or schrick. I was thinking or an H&R Cup kit (finally) and some ARB's, Eibach or Nuespeed. Your advice is welcomed...
  18. With out sounding ignorant isn't that quite a small increase for a Schrick and a remap?
  19. Probably Continental or Dunlop but I imagine this would have varied through out the run...
