Only just spotted this thread - Me & James have got walky talkys from last time. If you buy any, get good ones like Motorola etc - my mate bought us some 'Midland' ones and the range was CRAP!! I cant wait :0)

My mate was there on Sunday in his stripped out Clio cup - he got a 14.4 - says he was the quickest FWD non-turbo car all day, saw off an Astra VXR

Today I fancy a mint Mk2 Escort RS2000 in Signal orange with a 400Bhp cossie lump As a general run around car tho to replace the Golf it would have to be an E46 M3 It'll be something else tomorrow!

A quick word of warning - the use of cameras, digital & camcorders isnt allowed in-car whilst on the ring. If caught you will get banned for the day. There are marshalls who do look and also some marshalls are riding around the ring on motorbikes (quickly too!) But if your sneaky it can be done ;0)

Everything apart from cruise control & climate control which Im glad of as I cant stand it - my dads got it in his V5 and I just dont get it! I've got sunroof & air-con. quite rare to have both on some makes of cars

I've had my Vr for nearly 2 years and nobodys really given it the large from the lights - I cant remember being beaten by anything to be honest but I havent had anything that powerful try

I seem to remember a big Shell garage on the A76/E14 which is just inside Holland - could we meet there? Has a meeting point been organised already? I've added my mate James to the list that is coming too. 1. Seademon + Vr (camping) 2. James + 325i (camping) 3. Mk3 Anni + Vr (hotel?) 4. Ingham + Co pilot Fourmotion (camping) 5. VrSick + Co Pilot TG (campig) 6. Cadguy + Vr + co pilot Andy (fourmotion's m8 and cameraman) (camping - dependant on getting a tent and sleeping bag LoL) 7. Vwsyncro on route!

You wont be insured if you have an accident - some policies actually have it written into the policy that the your cover does not include the car being used on the Nordschliefe - what did u tell them? :S

For me part of the fun is camping, nothing like trying to find your tent in the woods, in the dark after a few beers :-p Plus you can have a fire (6)

My cars going into the phirm next week and Im having a raceland manifold put on. Is there anything else to consider when having 1 of these fitted like engine mounts? I've had the front one done. Im also going to have the centre silencer taken off (the Vw one) which will leave with me with a silencer and then the back box - I've also got a de-cat. Any recomendations?

Bring everyone! :-d Its all shaping up to be a wicked trip! If you have a road angel etc, be careful when driving through France they are illegal there and you will be fined heavily if caught with one - someone I know got done last year, he was fined £60 for speeding (160Mph) but got fined £600 for having a Snooper which they destroyed in front him!

Well its not officially a VR6OC event just started as me and a few mates going who have Bmw's and Fords etc but if you want to move it I dont mind but i think more people will see it here - up to you :-p
