so its pointless fitting the bias valve to a system not designed to
accommodate it

Hi guys
i am replacing my rear beam, a complete rebuild with new parts throughout and polybushed.powder coated.
i have an old style rear beam with the brake bias valve, to fit on my 1998 golf
the questions are.
Is it worth keeping the bias valve system?
and
why did VW remove it in later models?
I recommend corroless 2 pack for protecting the hinges we use it on subsea rov's and after 10 years under the sea this stuff is still on.
thanks

how did the mot go?
-
can you confirm it is a C2 chip i never opened the ecu
-
when i did it it started and kept cutting out
fuel pressure should be 56 to 58 psi with the vac hose unplugged
then it drops when you plug in the vac hose

be very careful running without an intercooler it wont take long to destroy the engine if the fuelling is wrong for the boost level

the servo it the old type and you have fitted a new type mastercylinder
the new mastercylinders have mounting holes at 3 and 9 oclock
the old mastercylinder mounting holes are at 8 and 2 oclock
i have had the same problem in the past

AAAha its all coming back to me
there is a connector coming from the clock loom with the same colour wires as the black connector coming through the bulkhead as shown on my diagram at the start of the thread
they do not fit together as they have different shaped connectors
you have to chop off the connectors and connect the wires individually with solder and heat shrink tube or with crimp on connectors hope this helps

eibach anti roll bar bushings

anyone know where i can get all the installation parts for my eibach antiroll bars
the kit which came with the bars when i first got them.
i am having the bars recoated and wanted to fit all new parts as the old ones have had some hammer
also i had to cut the clamps off the rear bar as they were rusted to hell
i have tried doing various searches over the last few weeks and have had no joy :-(
