    Are the hard lines easy to rpelace Pete provided they come off ok?

    Hi guys. If I was to change all the brake lines on the VR6 with a Goodridge set for instance, being a 6 line kit would that include hoses to replace the solid brake lines too? Or are the copper hard brake lines in addition?

    A finance marker doesn't come off straight away mate. In some cases it takes weeks. I bought a 106 gti years back with finance outstanding on it. The guy paid it off in front of me over the phone as I'd transfered the money for the car into his account. When I sold the car 5 months later it was still showing as finance outstanding which caused me no end of hassle because the young kid and his dad who was buying the car thought I was ripping them off.     Being serious Jim I am looking to get some upgrades for mine without forced induction. Am looking down the cams/remap/exhaust route. Anything to improve the lazy feel so if you could offer some suggestions that would be much appreciated.

    Is the single player any good? Not a fan of the online play which is why i didn't get Battlefield because MW3's single campaign is said to be better. Unless i'm playing with mates online i find the whole experience boring because you got guys who spend 15 hours a day on it and kill you the second you respawn.

    I wouldn't pay the £40 for it but after seeing it looking at me on STEAM all day i think i'm going to give in. £34 on Amazon just found!

    As much as i don't like saying anything against VRs or VW/Audi in general I think you've nailed it one there mate.

    I was up at the pod last weekend with a few friends. Attended the RWYB day on the saturday and then the VW/Audi event on the Sunday. Both my mates were in Civic Type Rs. Quickest 1/4 mile for them was 15.25s. Seen a few standard VRs go and were getting 15.8 and 16.2 and then some way over. It is horses for courses. VR does feel sluggish and heavy compared to the Type Rs but it's still a good car in my opinion.

    Yeah I suppose. Dont hold much hope though for getting good money for it but you never know.

    I'll be putting my highline up for sale soon and am wondering about price. Problem is I know a car is only what someone is willing to pay for it but the more people who give these VR6s away with a packet of cornflakes are only doing more damage to our residuals but people need to sell so it's a vicious circle. At £1200 the seller would have to be desperate.

    Hi Guys. Just met up with one of our fellow forum members for a chat and went out for a spin in his car. Including the time we took to chat and go out for a spin my car was left standing for easily over 1 hour yet when we got back we noticed my engine especially the manifold was still very hot yet the car we'd just just been out in and given some beans had only been standing for less than 5 mins was nowhere near as hot. Is this normal? I have changed the Coolant temp sensor recentyl.

    It's the grease bit I was uncertain about as in what sort of grease to fill it with?

    I think I agree mate. It looks easy enough, plus I don't think I can justify £50 for a garage to do them.
