    Been phoning around a few companies looking for good quality RS6 5 spoke replicas for my VR. When enquiring, all have said that they do the correct fitment for the VR but 50% of them have said that i'm gonna need around a 2-3mm spacer on the front due to caliper clearence? Has anyone else encountered this or even had this problem? Thanks guys in advance.

    Has anybody got a pic of a VR6 with those Audi RS4 style alloys on it? Just need to see it cause i'm getting a VR and i'm thinking about those rims.

    Its True. I've had 3 MK4 1.8Ts, one 25th Anniversary 180BHP, and they've all had the REVO treatment. I consistently made over 210BHP with 255lbs/ft +! Most value for money upgrade ever. But all that torque does taper off after 5krpm so you gotta make sure you put your opponent away early if you get what i mean. I had a Full Samco re-hose with Turbo Intake pipe replacement aswell as a Dynatwist air intake system and a cat-back and all that made for some smoothe power. In real world driving and on the motorway you'll be hard pushed to find anything within reason that will worry a modded 1.8T tha

    Just looking for a little bit of advice as to what is considered high mileage for a VR6? I know you've gotta look at the rest of the car aswel when buying; but i just wanted to know what you guys would class as high mileage. The car i'm going for this week is a 1997 (P) Golf VR6 Highline with 85k on the clock. Thanks guys.

    I see some have a chromed effect engine cover. Can that be bought or has the original one been modifed?

    Looks sweet! mate. Forgive my ignorance but what would the WD40 be for? I'm guessing to use it like maintenance spray to shine up stuff like the battery cover etc?

    Is it wise to clean the engine with a steam cleaner? My instinct tells me no, but many a time i've seen the boys in the washbay at my VW garage blasting the engines with a steam gun. I'll purchasing a VR6 this week and after having 2 new 1.8Ts i want to keep the engine and the bay clean and nice looking. Any advice?

    Found a nice VR6 in the colour that i want, but as always, the mileage isnt right. Its got a full Service history with only 2 owners but its got 140K on it; and the guys wants over 3k for it. Comes with Black Recaro interior with Porsche cup alloys also. Is the miles a lot? and how much should i be paying?
