Great pics Claire, the stand looked excellent. I had a good hunt around for you but couldn't find you and I didn't take a second glance at the burner, I just thought it was another mint R32! Great work
I appreciate the fact that I posted facts about a 20vt on a VR forum, which I happen to of been using for nearly 4 years now! I was merely stating that the MK2 Mike was talking about was a MK2 20vt and a bloody quick one at that. There is no need for flippant comments.

Buy all the bits you want to do to the car then once you have all the parts you can afford/want to do to the car, stick them on then get it mapped. You'll be waisting your money otherwise.
Gosh, I'm so not used to the offset of standard wheels!! They look like little buttons! Looks nice and clean, I wonder how long it'll look like that for?!!!
Can I ask how you have been driving the car? No matter what you are doing, (and I'm not saying you are) you shouldn't be driving the car above 3,000rpm at the most with an unmapped charger bolted to it. I don't see how it will blow oil back through to the filter at these kind of low RPM's.
Anything 8 and over with 17's you will need your arches rolled. Over 8.5's you will need your arches pulled. My new 8.5's fit perfectly but I have had my arches completely rolled back on themselves. 11x18's as Justin says, I reckon it'd probably be best if you cut your arches off!!! lol
237 foot pounds of torque?!!! I don't think so some how, mines only producing 257 with a charger! You'll never produce more torque than BHP. I reckon your figures aren't far off Jim.
At the end of the day, it's the bid thing. There is no reseve on it and the starting bid was .99p by the looks of it, and it's been bid up to that price. Good business on the sellers behalf imo. There's one mug born every day!
It's going to be second hand for that price mate, whatever you get. If you're not intending to save anymore money and want a charger now you could opt for a Z - Engineering charger (which is what I have) but they are rare. They produce less boost than a Vortech but with a ZR2 you get no belt slip because of the ribbed belt. You can only realistically run 10-12psi with a Vortech before you start getting slip. Admiteddly you wont get as much power from a Z (260-285-290ish max if you really go balls out with other mods) but there aren't that many Vortech's running over 300bhp (couple on here) and
Rubbish mate, don't bother, it's not worth the grief. Just save for a few more months and do it properly. You stick one of them in and you wont notice any difference, either that or you'll kid yourself it's twice as quick lol!!
I covered this whole issue when I first had my VR charged. The whole idea of running the engine without the MAF seemed dodgy to me anyway. As soon as Vince pulled the VR off the dyno and I drove it, it was down on power and had flat spots all over the rev range and his excuse was 'The timing is out'!! Well complete waist of time and money that map was. The guy who built my engine was absolutely stunned that someone could even consider removing the MAF as the ECU will just be completely confused. Hense why it completely retarded my ignition and dropped all the fueling off as it couldn't read th
