What else is there that for under 10k will give the performance of a charged VR??? All I can think of is a mapped S3, and even then it wont be as quick as what I have now. Any other suggestions???

Only ever run Falkens, toyos and Yoko's. Yoko's stick but dont last long, falkens I just didnt like. F1's might be better than toyos, but as i've never had them i cant comment.

My Charged VR was mapped by vince, and if you do a search you'd know that, and you'd find feedback from me and a host of other people. You'll find a lot of the long standing members are fucked off with the amount of reposts and crap on this forum. For the record if your implying our RR day was at stealth, your wrong it wasn't, so how about you check your facts before you post.

I'm certain its the crank sensor. Thats exactly the symptoms i had when mine failed and it didnt throw up a fault on vag-com

It will help lower your intake temps and as it makes the air denser it will give you a little more pressure on boost. It depends how you use it. If you use it purely as a safe guard then you wont benefit much. If you have the engine mapped to always run with it the timing can be pulled back and power can be gained. If its a new kit then you need to run the charger in before mapping.

You find a garage with an oil pressure test kit and ask them to check it for you. I have an oil pressure gauge in my car for this very reason, the lights and senders just cant be trusted.

Replace leads, plugs, check coilpack and change the rocker cover gasket.

CAPS LOCK??????? Maybe your oil pressure is low??????? Maybe its cold....mine idles high in this weather.

Painted mine with black exhaust paint. Never really thought about the engine temp, I just happened to have the manifold off the car and saw the paint in the garage!!!!
