  1. I have ordered off Camskil before & they are one of the cheapest for Toyo's. However i think that Goodyear F1's are way better than Toyo's
  2. sorry for the thread hijack - Where is the best place to get these from?
  3. Try central motor spares. Got an ABF off them for about £400 with only 56K miles a few years back & i am sure ABF's are cheaper now
  4. Shell stations have a very dodgy reputation. There was a nationwide scam rum through them not so long ago that lead to shell going back to people signing for payments rather than using chip & pin. Always try to use my credit card now (& pay it off in full at due date) As it gives you a bit more security & you not have to deal with things like going overdrawn if fraud does happne on it.
  5. Around £35 all in I think' date=' I find of ignored the price and just paid up Stupid amount for a wash mitt but they are good. You need to comb them every so often, which made me chuckle abit when I suddenly realised I was combing a car washing tool and wondered where my sanity actually gave way :S Worth it though [/quote'] I have spent far too much money of car cleaning bits over the last few weeks. Think a wash mitt @ £35 will be the final straw for my wife!!
  6. I got mine for £59 including postage & two 5L bottles of snow foam. This deal is still open if anyone else wants one. Will be the envy of my neighbours again this weekend when I give my car a good clean!
  7. Just googled that mitt. It looks crazy. How much did you pay for yours?
  8. I just brought a meguairs wash mitt at the weekend as well as some other bits as halfords are still doing 3 for 2 on car wash products
  9. I thought it was bit much to spend but now I have used it could not do with out one. Shame about the seagulls & cat!
  10. Recently brought an Autobrite Foam Lance & well impresssed with it so far. Will come in real handy for quick minimal touch cleans in winter as well as getting most of the dirt off the car before washing reducing swirl marks. not my car but gives you an idea!
  11. Agree on the Synta Silver it's £9.99 from here http://www.thetradepartsspecialists.co.uk/ But you may need to need to convince them that your a trader
  12. 6000 I think. Will go for it as soon as I find some decent Angel eyes. Like these ones but the owner cannot remember what they are http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v178/eatthis/DSC_0202.jpg
  13. Glad it's not only me spending the cash! Got the front & rear bushes to do as well as the mounts. A crappy Cult Society Boot Lock thatmeans I cannot open the boot from the outside at the moment, Then got to sort out the ICE & a HID conversion as well. Then hopefully will just sit back drive & enjoy
  14. Had two sets on my MKII & one set on My MKI. Always used the grooved ones rather than combi or drilled & found them to be very good - never faded on the road. Had Pagid FR pads on the the first set on the MKII & thought the pads were crap compared to ferrodo's. Ordered the discs & pads now so hopefully on track to get it fitted this week. Still got the mounts to do very soon as well as some other bits so spending too much money at the moment :-(

  16. Did not get them painted but wish I had as I now have to drop them off at my local body shop tomorrow to get them done. Going for silver as I think red brakes looks chavvy unless their Brembo \ Wilwoods etc. If my memories correct I am sure people were saying that the OEM discs from VW \ TPS were better than the plains from GSF? Just called my local TPS & the OEM plains are £150 so may as well pay the £20 or so extra & get Black Diamond Grooved ones.
  17. Thanks for finding the review. I'm defo going for the DS Performance ones now. Will never take my car on the track & most of the time I just cruise around anyway & I'm sure the bigger discs, better pads & braided hoses will be up to the job during my fast moments. Now just gotta decide on which discs today & i'm set to be have my brakes sorted by Thursday
