    its advisable to fix it as its more of a reliability thing doesnt matter so much in winter but really helps in summer

    im getting sick of my rear calipers sticking what parts exactly do i need to fit mk4 jobbies? will mk3 pads fit in them? mines a late spec vr btw

    its got nothing to do with bhp torque is the force thats involved im running 275 lb ft on a stock clutch (4k miles so far) with no issues as of yet

    its possibly be as well to swap the whole engine and ecu that way you wouldnt need it remapping im running 320 bhp + (when i fix the belt slip lol) with totally stock internals

    yeh lol i signed up to rate myvw ingham challenged me and beat me lol

    with aircon the stock tensioner is repalced by the charger i think. i have an extra pulley it needs a new bearing before i get it fitted the belt has about 15k on it i have another 1 im going to try and its VERY tight as it is i dont want it killing the water pump etc

    do you class the 12v vr6 is a new or older tech engine??

    zr2s use a toothed belt but vortechs use the main serpentine belt
