    Had problems with my clutch juddering and that was put down to slight warping of the flywheel! Had to have it skimmed at a engineering place in the end which sorted it.

    Remaps cost around the £400ish mark and with an exhaust and filter it will make it fly! Just watch the torquey diesel though as it can case clutch slip being remapped to high on the standard clutch

    Is it just me but when I look at the main forum page http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum.php the times for the last posts in each of the sections seems to be roughly 5 hours in the future? Any ideas Pete?

    MK2 is looking good Claire, defo needed the smoked lights up front to modernise it a bit! Love the white german plate on the back too. Are they smoked crystal cross hair headlights?

    The aircon pipes have a fair bit of movement and can be moved from the clips on the scuttle and pushed down or pulled forward to clear the strut brace, then cable tie the aircon pipe to the strut brace :-)

    Yeah it will need recoding when fitted and also the brakes will need bleeding which can be done using VAG-COM too.

    Shouldn't flash really but ive been told by my mechanic that the electrical systems on MK3's are quite bad for misreporting failures, etc. If it stops flashing then it should be fine. If it is constantly flashing then maybe there is a problem with oil pressure due to the oil pump failing?

    Im going to take apart my old ABS ECU to see if I can find out what the problem was, might be a dry joint or a broken track or something. Obviously related to a week point on the pin for the rear drivers side sensor though!

    Bloody hell that's unlucky mate. Keep going mate, it will all be worth it in the end! This is one of my all time favourite MK3's, got to finish it mate! :-)
