    I got the boost wrong - goes up to 10psi when 5000+ revs! does seem much quicker when cold weather about! def look into red injectors rho - want to get 300+ bhp if i can! all help gratefully recieved!

    Dub 25 - what difference did the shrick make with the s/c? Any problems? Have you got a picture of the adapter?

    The kit was bought (by previous owner) from C2 - i'll have a look at reciept. I think the compression has been lowered with 25psi spacer gasket but i'll double check

    I've had my s/c car for about a month now - it don't seem to go as well as it did when i got it - the boost still goes to 6psi but it seems underpowered. Had a race with a saxo VTR and only just beat it! Just about kept up with a clio v6. Am i just getting used to the power or is there anything i should check? Any suggestions on how to get more power out of her gratefully received! Going to go for water injection next then 8psi pully? Anything else i can do?

    I've booted it and checked the guage - 6psi! no idea on charger - have the original reciept from usa - will have a look! Cost the bloke $4500 last nov - I got a bargain so I'm happy whatever the outcome - Runs like a dream with no problems! Just want to get a bit more power out of her! Any (sensible) suggestions welcome

    I have a Vortec charger and was wondering what should my boost gauge should read - if i give it some beans it goes to 6psi - is this normal? I don't know what stage kit i have? The engine has had the compression lowered with a spacer 25psi head gasket - what boost can i run?

    I have an enlarged TB from my obd1 car - would i benefit by putting on my obd2 with S/c?

    just had a thought my old shrick is obd1 new car is obd2! what do i need to change?

    What benefits would i have by fitting my shrick off my old Vr to my S/c VR? The car already goes like stink! Bit new the S/c scene!

    I've just had new clutch put in when i had engine fitted - i'm thinking it could now be the water pump? kilokilla I've just sent you a pm mate (didn't read this reply before I sent it!) I may be interested in a head re-build anyway as it smoke on the over run!

    Sounds like my car - I thought mine was the head gasket? I'm getting squealing noises and lots of steam from air box side! I'll have to investigate further!

    My Head gasket has just died - I did notice that it started to use a little water. I used to get a lot of white smoke/steam from my exhaust but not sure if that was related! As for chains/tensioners there is a sound clip on a thread that gives you an idea what worn tensioners sound like! Best bet would be to take it to a good garage that knows what they are talking about (stealth/the phirm etc...) and get them to take a look!

    Have you had it Vag-Com'd? Best place to start then if no codes come up you can rule out quite a few things!

    Its definetly water - its also taken out the alternator as I found out yesterday! I'm going to get the chains and guides done now as its all going to be in bits - anything else i should get done at the same time?

    Are there any pipes on the air box side? I aint checked any of the pipes yet - will have a look today - hopefully it might not be as bad as i suspected!
