  3. I tore the splash guard off under the bumper when I had the accident, unfortunately, that's where I have to keep my cone filter and MAF housed too, so I've got it hanging out at the moment until I fix the splash guard! Funky innit?
  4. eVil - did you change the cams to the 248's after you put the 'charger on? do you know what sort of power/torque gains you got from the cams alone? cheers sam Yes I did, but only recently so I haven't even had chance to drive it properly yet never mind get it Dyno'd.
  5. The front two had a good three inches of alloy missing from mounting the curb of a roundabout at about 80mph mate.. I sold the other two for something stupid.
  6. I have the decat and lost low down torque but gained in power. SWINGS AND ROUNDABOUTS. My car was faster to 100mph with the standard system on.
  7. The reason the 2.9 feels different in the Corrado is because it's not a golf.. I've been told many times there's nothing noticeable between the two.
  8. Vf-engineering Charger with 8.5psi pulley' date=' Schrick VSR Manifold, Schrick 248sc cams, Supersprint Decat Pipe, Jetex Cat Back Exhaust, FSE Powerboost Valve, 2.9 Gearbox with Quaiffe LSD.   10. I'm trying to find some centre caps on German e-bay at the mo. As for the yellow and blue.. if you look at my Avatar you'll see the old colour coding I had going before the Schrick arrived. I'm not sure what to do with it now. I'm not swapping the hoses again, I love yellow. But I think the blue looks a little 'lop-sided' now. Just wanted the bay to strand out in a different, almost cartoon way.

  12. As some of you know.. the golf has been out of action for a while now. I'm hoping once back it should decimate all. These are the latest pics.. the car is suffering a small identity crisis at the moment 'Shall I have trim or not?' 'Should I go blue, or silver?' ect ect.. oh and it's pretty dirty.. overall it still ain't pretty! I kinda half way through, just trying to get him running in time for Oct 30th! Let me know what you think..

  14. Honestly? I have no idea.. but I'm running 288mm calipers which are substantially chunkier.
  15. Mina is the one to ask. I think his old charger set-up came imported from the US, but I think he may have had the whole thing mapped over here. Could be wrong though. MINA!

    Probably a Twin-Turbo Supra, RX7, maybe even a highly modified 300zx. Talking of Novas, my mate has a 2ltr Turbo and it's f00kin quick. Bits keep falling off it though.
  17. might? Dude.. they won't get anywhere near the hub without spacers. I'm looking for 16mm just for decent clearance, thats with the calipers shaved.
  18. Think you'll find the crank pulley WILL make a huge difference to acceleration without any flywheel work. Awsome actually do a complete set of Neuspeed Pulleys for all the ancilliaries and the crank. Not cheap, but probably worth it.
  19. Dude.. did you need spacers for your Schmidts? If so, where you get em? I'm struggling for hubcentrics at the mo.
