    I take it you mean for a bad boy bonnet. They are basically just a triangle of metal. We cut some for my mates fiesta bonnet where I work. If you know anyone who works in a factory with sheet metal they should be able to cut them out without to many worries.

    Nice one cheers for that. I won't need to worry about this bridge as the vr is not H4. It is the H4 that needs it, just checked the manual.

    It is litterally a plug adaptor to fit the standard golf headlight wiring loom into the back of thye head lights so that bit it isn't anything major Nick. Still not sure about the H4 bulbs bit though, probably should have put this in the electrical bit. Will go and post over there to see what the the bulbs are.

    If I drive like a grandad then I can regularly get 30mpg to and from work. If I plant my foot all the time then around 20-24. I've had it as low as 11 going to southend then taking an hour to do one lap. The one and only time i've been in the vr I hasten to add

    The adaptors don't come with them, it says "not included with this set" in the instructions. I'm abit narked about it tbh. I'll check out ecp...thanks. I've got Hella uks no. from the supplier so hopefully they will tell me somewhere to get them, just wondered if it was the same for everyone else.

    Speed bumps ~ I have to go over about 5 every time I go round one of my mates house, then he lives down a private road which is more like a dirt track so end up getting covered in mud. I'm gonna have to ask him to move or just not go round there

    Those of you that have these lights, where did you get the adaptors from to plug them into the existing VW light plugs? Also it says in the instructions, if you have H4 bulbs to swap something in the fuse box....what are the standard bulbs, are they H7? Cheers guys.

    That they are Mark!!! One of my funniest breakages was in an old mk4 escourt I had. Went over a bridge in my little village too quickly and the exhaust snapped off and the throtle cable got locked on fully open. Thankfully I wasn't far from my house, but it sounded like a tank and every time the clutch went down it reved the tits off it.

    Glad (not really, but you know what I mean) i'm not the only one. I know Minty seems to have had lots of problems with thing breaking and the like, just gets to you sometimes. The guy on ebay has been really good about the headlights, sent new ones out the next day so they should be turning up today sometime, plus he will refund me the cost of sending the other back, so can't complain too much. The clunk is being checked out on Monday next week. They took a quick look on Friday but need more time. It has been doing it for a while just never got round to getting it looked at.

    Well, I had a service on Friday and it showed up that my n/s rear damper is leaking, and guess what, my lovely flkonigsports are 1 year and 2 months old, so i'm guessing are gonna be about 2 months outside of the warranty. Couple that with the nice Hella Celis headlights I bought on ebay tuning up on Thursday, broken (not just one of them either both of them!!). My other headlights I bought recently, one of them was broken. The exhaust had to be "modified" to get it to fit....ie not straightforward and easy. My alarm turned uo broken when that was fitted.     If you fit the cold air feed properly that cuts down noise, I can notice a difference when mine used to slip off the end of the filter. The BMC is enclosed in the carbon case so that also cuts out alot of the noise that a free cone filter would make. (This is an educated guess btw....I could be wrong )
