    Have a word with Jamie at JBS Tel/Fax: 01246 550 400, they've just started doing nos. But its not fast and furious style its controlled by the ecu. I know there is a big cover on the cars in PVW soon and they'll bit at inters.

  6. eVIL, beware the air flow meter is important for telling the ecu how much petrol to mix with air. Its expensive to replace Best bet is to replace the broken pipe.

  8. yeeha, I'd agree with Mina when s/c'd other things need to be uprated as well and that's expensive. Out of all the VW engines the VR6 is the most expensive to modify. But all the marshalls at Goodwood say my VR sounds the best

  11. Dealership say a new auto box comes with torque converter but they don't know if you can buy them separately, anyone know the answer? Will be ringing bigger dealership to see if they know tomorrow.
  12. Check this site 205/50 R15 = 586.0 205/40 R16 = 570.0 205/40 R17 = 595.8 Calculations show that the VR would be quicker with 16" wheels.
  13. JBS put the s/c on but as I said to Vince how do you know the difference between a standard or uprated chip? The answer is rolling road and computers which JBS haven't got, the reason Vince reckons its the chip is because when you run the car without the s/c its fine. The FSE boost valve should be 4 bar not standard 3 bar & there should be a one way valve on the carbon canister. Initially it was a few hours work to change throttle body and air mass meter but still not running right at 7pm, Vince dropped us at the Wharf Inn pub for my mate to pick us up.   15. Jules, My car is at Stealth being fixed, the theory so far is that the chip put in is standard and that's why its running lean. What do you guys reckon on the Aquamist system?
