  1. I had my VR last year on 68k on the clock and in totally mint condition with loads of extra's thrown in. cost me 6.8k then.... 1997 plate also

  5. If you get it on VAG-COM, it will have logged the fault which will allow you to identif which one is at fault.

  7. if there are no visable signes of coolant leaking, then check your headgasket at a first port of call!
  8. mine needed skimming, you'll find that the majority of VR6's seep from the drivers side corner of the head. while your doing the headgasket, take the opertunity to check chains/guides etc... however, your's shouldnt need it doing at 75k, unless it's had a ruff life!.

  10. a C02 tester will tell you if it had gone, my headgasket was fooked wen i took it off @ 80k on the clock, in-fact, i was able to poke my finger through it! all running sweet now tho!
  11. no idea what ET they are! they fitted on evil's VR with his coilovers, which are now on mine also.... I think they are streted 35 or 40's on them!

  17. no - The only difference between odb2 and the highline models are the ECU map AFAIK. I dont beleive there are any mechanical differences within the engnie.

  19. actually, I can probably do it to a degree. leave it with me.
  20. ive been advised not to get a de-cat by a few people now.... you dont really need to de-cat it unless your pushin at least 250BHP + (forced induction)
